    Abstract: An electronic component includes a composite body made of a composite material of resin and magnetic metal particles, an inner electrode which is provided in the composite body and which has an end surface exposed from an outer surface of the composite body, and a metal film provided on the outer surface of the composite body and on the end surface of the inner electrode. The metal film includes a first region provided on the end surface of the inner electrode and a second region which is in contact with the magnetic metal particles exposed at the outer surface of the composite body and which is provided on the outer surface of the composite body. The thickness of the first region is less than the thickness of the second region.

    Abstract: An inductor component includes a main body including a magnetic layer, an inductor wiring disposed in the main body, and vertical wirings each of which is connected to the inductor wiring and each of which extends from a portion in which the vertical wiring and the inductor wiring are connected to each other to a first main surface of the main body. A second main surface of the main body is located on the side of the inductor wiring that is opposite to the side of the inductor wiring on which the first main surface is located. The first main surface is covered with a first outer layer having an insulating property, and the second main surface is covered with a second outer surface having an insulating property. The first outer layer and the second outer layer each contain a colorant.
