    摘要: A distributed speech recognition system and method thereof in accordance with the present invention enables a word and a natural language to be recognized using detection of a pause period in a speech period in an inputted speech signal, and various groups of recognition vocabulary (for example, a home speech recognition vocabulary, a telematics vocabulary for a vehicle, a vocabulary for call center, and so forth) to be processed in the same speech recognition system by determining the recognition vocabulary required by a corresponding terminal using an identifier of the terminal since various terminals require various speech recognition targets. In addition, various types of channel distortion occurring due to the type of terminal and the recognition environment are minimized by adapting them to a speech database model using a channel estimation method so that the speech recognition performance is enhanced.

    摘要: In a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) video communication method and apparatus, first and second VoIP-based terminals store video event indexes and images mapped thereto with respect to state information of a user and terminal, and establish a session using session establishment information defining the video event. The first terminal then transmits a data packet including the video event index, and the second terminal receives the data packet and outputs an image mapped to the video event index of the images stored in advance. Thus, by transmitting and receiving a predefined index alone without transmitting user and terminal states as a real time data-type image, the VoIP video communication method and apparatus prevent unnecessary waste of bandwidth in video communication.

    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for compensating for frequency offset in a wireless communication system using an OFDM system which can compensate for phase change due to carrier frequency offset and sampling frequency offset of data carried on subcarriers. The apparatus includes an FFT window adjustment unit for receiving sampling data when a packet is received, setting a start point of a FFT window at a start point of long training symbols and adjusting a position of the FFT window according to an input window adjustment value, an FFT unit for receiving an output of the FFT window adjustment unit, transforming time-domain symbols into frequency-domain symbols and calculating FFT coefficients, a channel estimation unit for receiving the coefficients from the FFT unit, estimating a channel state and outputting a value for compensating for an estimated value, a channel compensation unit for compensating for the frequency-domain symbols using the output of the channel estimation unit and a phase error tracking and correction unit for receiving an output of the channel compensation unit, detecting a sampling frequency offset and a phase change of a carrier signal and outputting the window adjustment value to the FFT window adjustment unit.
