    Abstract: An image signal is received from a camera and a signal is received from each of a number of sensors. For each sensor, a position of a signal source is estimated based on the signal from the sensor. For each sensor, information on a situation expression expressing a situation is extracted based on the signal from the sensor. The situation expression for each sensor is superimposed on a captured image by the camera and the captured image superimposed with the situation expression for each sensor is output. In a case in which the sensors are located at different positions and the situation expression for each sensor overlap at least partially on the captured image, an overlapping order of the situation expressions for the sensors superimposed on the captured image is determined based on a distance between the camera and each sensor.

    Abstract: A signal from a sensor and an image signal are received, and a position of a signal source is estimated based on the signal from the sensor. Information on a situation expression is extracted based on the signal from the sensor. The situation expression expresses a situation outside a capture range related to the image signal. A display position of the situation expression on a captured image by the image signal is determined using a positional relation between the position of the signal source and the capture range. A size of the situation expression on the captured image is determined depending on a distance between a position of the signal source and a capturing position where the image signal is captured. The situation expression with the determined size is superimposed onto the captured image in accordance with the display position; the captured image superimposed with the situation expression is output.

    Abstract: A station monitoring apparatus (10) includes an image processing unit (110) and a decision unit (120). The image processing unit (110) determines a position of a door (50) of a vehicle (40) and a position of a person by analyzing an image generated by a capture apparatus (20), i.e., an image capturing a platform of a station. The decision unit (120) decides, after the vehicle (40) has begun to move, by use of a position of the door (50) and a position of the person, whether to perform predetermined processing. For example, the decision unit (120) performs the predetermined processing when deciding that a difference between a movement velocity of any of the persons and a movement velocity of the door is within a criterion continuously for a criterion time.
