摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for triggering an alarm during a sensor jamming attack. In one aspect, a monitoring system sensor unit is disclosed that includes a sensor, a communication unit configured to communicate with a monitoring system using a range of frequencies, and a jamming detection unit. The jamming detection unit may include a processor and a computer storage media storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations include detecting a sensor jamming event, selecting a different form of communication other than the range of radio frequencies for the communication unit to communicate with the monitoring system, and providing, to the communication unit, an instruction to communicate with the monitoring system using the form of communication, wherein the communication unit may communicate, to the monitoring system using the form of communication, the sensor data.

摘要: An object detection alarm system is provided for monitoring a protected area within a facility to ensure that it remains free of objects in accordance with federal, state, or local regulations or facility protocol. The system includes a housing supporting an ultrasonic sensor, a microcontroller, an alarm and a clock module. The sensor calculates time differentials between emitted and detected sonar signals and generates signals representing the calculated time differential values or a calculated distance based thereon, supplying those signals to a processor of the microcontroller which determines whether a violative condition is present based upon a comparison of the received signals and a pre-determined time differential value representing a non-violative condition. If a violative condition is determined, and persists for a period of time, the microprocessor activates an alarm until the condition is cleared. Also provided is a method of monitoring a protected area within a facility by means of an object detection alarm system as herein provided.

The security sensor device receives a user input, performs a biometric authentication of a user associated with the user input, modifies a state of the security sensor device based at least in part on the biometric authentication and the user input, detects a sensor trigger when the security sensor device is in the modified state, determines a sensor indication based at least in part on the sensor trigger, the state of the security sensor device subsequent to being modified, and the user input, and transmits the sensor indication to a premises security control device. The sensor indication is configured to cause the premises security control device to perform at least one premises security action.

The sensor data may be associated with a tampering event and the tampering event may include an action performed on the asset. The wireless sensing system may further determine whether the tampering event is performed by an authorized user of the wireless sensing system. The wireless sensing system may further determine whether the tampering event is performed within an authorized location of the wireless sensing system. The wireless sensing system may transmit a notification to a user of the wireless sensing system. The notification may alert the user of the wireless sensing system that the tampering event has occurred.

摘要: A server-based environment for reporting a status of a security, monitoring and automation controller is provided. Detecting cessation of an always-on persistent network connection between the SMA controller and the server is also provided. Reporting the cessation of the network connection to an end user and defined others is further provided. A further aspect provides for automatically reporting an alarm event to a central station, the end user, and others, in the event the cessation of the network connection occurs while the SMA controller is aimed and after a zone fault event, and not receiving a disarm notification prior to expiration of a preset entry delay.

The method is performed by a control apparatus for an unmanned vehicle, and the method involves obtaining a plurality of pieces of sensor information. At least partially depending on the obtained pieces of sensor information it is determined whether a danger exists. If it is determined that a danger exists, then at least one averting measure for averting the danger is determined, and the at least one averting measure is performed or caused to be performed.

摘要: A single platform for controller functionality for each of security, monitoring and automation, as well as providing a capacity to function as a bidirectional Internet gateway, is provided. Embodiments of the present invention provide such functionality by virtue of a configurable architecture that enables a user to adapt the system for the user's specific needs. Embodiments of the present invention further provide such functionality by providing for installation of removable, modular communication adapters for communication with a variety of devices external to the security, monitoring and automation controller.
