Abstract: In an electric power unit which accommodates at least an electric motor in a housing, polygonal rib regions in which polygonal ribs are respectively formed are provided on at least two surfaces of an outer peripheral surface of the housing, and the polygonal rib regions are connected by a circumferential rib. Here, a first axial rib and a second axial rib extending parallel to an axial direction are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the housing, and the polygonal rib region is provided in a portion sandwiched between the first axial rib and the second axial rib. Further, the circumferential rib is formed over the entire part of the polygonal rib region in a circumferential direction. Note that the polygonal rib is a honeycomb rib.

Abstract: A hair dryer includes a fan motor, a heater unit, and a body case arranged to cover the fan motor and the heater unit. The fan motor includes an impeller arranged to rotate about a central axis, and a motor arranged to rotate the impeller. The body case includes an intake case portion including an air inlet, and a discharge case portion including an air outlet. Inside the body case, an inner tubular case portion arranged to extend along an inside surface of the body case is accommodated. A silencing space is defined between the inside surface of the body case and the inner tubular case portion. An opening portion is defined to join the silencing space and an interior space of the body case to each other.

Abstract: A motor module includes a motor, a fan, and a casing accommodating the motor and the fan therein. The casing includes a tubular main body portion, an intake port, an exhaust port, a motor disposing unit, a flow passage, and a partition unit. The flow passage includes a fan accommodating unit. The partition unit includes a first central partition unit that partitions the fan accommodating unit and the motor disposing unit. The first central partition unit includes a cutout portion provided at at least a portion of the first central partition unit. The motor disposing unit communicates with the fan accommodating unit via the cutout portion. A flow passage sectional area of the motor disposing unit is greater than a flow passage sectional area of the first central partition unit.
