Abstract: A spindle motor includes a shaft, a base part, a stator core, a rotor, and a bearing part. Abstract: A rotor of a motor includes a cylindrical portion, a first plate portion, a second plate portion, and a side hole. Abstract: In a motor, a lower thrust portion is defined by a flange portion extending radially outward from an outer circumferential surface of a shaft portion of a shaft and a plate portion extending radially inward from an inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical wall of a bearing cup portion which axially overlap with each other.
