Abstract: A spectroscope used for a microspectroscopic system includes: a collimating optical system that causes signal light to be substantially collimated light; spectroscopic optical systems and each of which includes at least one of each of spectral elements and in which a wavelength band for spectral separation varies depending on an incident angle of the signal light; at least one of each of optical receivers that detect the signal light spectrally separated by the spectroscopic optical systems; a mechanism that varies the incident angles of the signal light on the spectral elements; and a controller unit that determines the incident angles of the signal light on the spectral elements in accordance with the wavelength band for spectrally separating the signal light and controls the mechanism so as to attain the incident angles.

Abstract: In an ophthalmology system, an right-eye imaged image is displayed on a display section for presentation to an observer through an optical unit and a reflection member. A left-eye imaged image is also displayed on a display section for presentation to an observer through an optical unit and a reflection member. A separation between the left and right imaged images is made wider than a spacing between the left and right optical units. This enables image presentation with the optical axes for the observer viewing the images intersecting in front so as to cause a convergence angle to arise.

Abstract: In an ophthalmic imaging system an image imaged by an imaging section for a right eye is formed as an imaging image on a display, and then displayed through a right-eye optical unit and a reflection member. An image imaged by an imaging section for a left eye is formed as an imaging image on a display, and then displayed through an optical unit and the reflection member. This thereby enables the object to be visually inspected as a three-dimensional image by the observer viewing the right-eye imaging image and the left-eye imaging image, which differ from each other according to the parallax therebetween, by viewing the respective images through right and left eyes.

Abstract: An optical member and a microscope that allow acquiring brighter and sharper images when fluorescent observation is performed while stimulating a sample with light. Illumination light from a laser unit is split into stimulation light and excitation light by a dichroic mirror. In other words, half of the illumination light is transmitted through the dichroic mirror and becomes the stimulation light, and half of the illumination light is reflected by the dichroic mirror and becomes the excitation light. Half of the excitation light is reflected by a dichroic mirror and is irradiated onto a sample, and half of the stimulation light transmits through the dichroic mirror and is irradiated onto the sample. Fluorescence generated from the sample is totally reflected by the dichroic mirror and the dichroic mirror, and is received by a photodetector.
