    Abstract: Provided is a tube set which is capable of easily determining whether a holder has been mounted when the holder is mounted on a housing. The tube set, which is provided in a tube pump that feeds a liquid, includes a pump tube and a holder. The holder has a flexible flat plate and includes first and second engagement portions located away from each other in a first direction. The first and second engagement portions are configured to be fitted into first and second engagement grooves formed in the housing, respectively, when the holder is pushed into the housing in a state of being bent in a thickness direction. The holder is elastically restored to be attached to the housing when the engagement portions are fitted into the respective engagement grooves. The holder has a flexural modulus of 500 MPa or more and 3500 MPa or less.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a needle tip protector of a novel structure for an indwelling needle, which enables improvements in safety, etc. as compared with conventional needle tip protectors. A needle tip protector 10 for an indwelling needle includes a tubular peripheral wall 58, and is externally attached over a needle hub 22 of an indwelling needle 16 and moved toward a needle tip 14 side so as to cover the needle tip 14. Detents 74, 74, which are to be detained with the needle hub 22 at a position in a movement of the protector toward the needle tip 14 side of the indwelling needle 16 so as to inhibit backward movement of the protector to the proximal end side of the indwelling needle 16 and to prevent the needle tip 14 from being reexposed, are formed within an inside enclosed by the peripheral wall 58, and are integrally molded with the peripheral wall 58.

    Abstract: A blood circuit having a pressure measurement portion connected to a pressure measurement device includes: a first measurement portion provided downstream of a pumping segment; and a second measurement portion provided upstream of the pumping segment. The first measurement portion includes: a first housing having a tubular shape; and a first flexible membrane having a tubular shape and provided in the first housing. The second measurement portion includes: a second housing having a tubular shape; and a second flexible membrane having a tubular shape and provided in the second housing. A space between the first flexible membrane and the first housing is larger than a space between the second flexible membrane and the second housing in an initial state before permitting the blood to flow.

    Abstract: A bottomed, tubular hollow elastic body that opens toward an outlet side of a drug solution flow path is accommodated and arranged in an accommodation part formed in a housing, and a middle protrusion is provided protruding toward an inlet side of the drug solution flow path from a center part of a bottom wall of the hollow elastic body. Insertion of a male luer causes the bottom wall of the hollow elastic body to be elastically deformed so as to enter inside a peripheral wall, increasing the volume of the drug solution flow path, which is formed between an outer surface of the hollow elastic body and an inner surface of the accommodation part. Removing the male luer and canceling the elastic deformation of the hollow elastic body causes the volume of the drug solution flow path to be reduced.

    Abstract: A medical device made of an ester resin, such as a hollow-fiber-type blood treatment device, is put into a packaging material made of a gas-impermeable material, and, with at least a reducing gas, such as hydrogen gas, being further enclosed therein, the packaging material is hermetically sealed to provide a medical device package. The medical device package is exposed to radiation to sterilize the inside thereof. In the medical device package, an oxygen scavenger may be further enclosed. The reducing gas may be mixed with an inert gas and enclosed as a mixed gas. As a result, it becomes possible to effectively suppress the generation of by-products, such as acetic acid, from the ester resin.
