    Abstract: In the method, a first device receives a mixed signal including a target signal from a target device among a plurality of second devices and an interfering signal from the plurality of second devices. The first device determines a distribution characteristic of an amplitude of the mixed signal within an amplitude variation range, the distribution characteristic being associated with the target device and an interfering device generating the interfering signal. The first device determines the interfering device from the plurality of second devices based on the distribution characteristic. An interfering device in a communication system may be detected in real-time and accurately.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of ONU activation for OLT Equalizer training. The method includes determining, at OLT, configuration information indicating a bandwidth allocation dedicated for an ONU and a first target preamble sequence associated with the bandwidth allocation, the first target preamble sequence to be used by the ONU for a transmission from the ONU to the OLT on a first wavelength; transmitting the configuration information to the ONU; and receiving the transmission from the ONU from the ONU on the first wavelength, the transmission is performed by the ONU based on the first target preamble sequence.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to channel state based beamforming enhancement. A first device receives, from a second device, a second message indicating a second channel state. The second message has a second length less than a first length of a first message indicating a first channel state previously received from the second device. The first device obtains combined beamforming features of the second device according to a trained combining model associated with the second device and based on the second message and historical beamforming features of the second device. The first device generates a beam weight for the second device according to a trained beamforming model and based on the combined beamforming features. The first device may generate a beam weight for the second device according to the beamforming model without recovering CSI from the message.

    Abstract: The method includes receiving, at a first optical communication device, feedback information on training of a neural network from at least one second optical communication device, the neural network configured to process a signal received from the first optical communication device, the feedback information at least including a training performance indication for training of the neural network conducted at the at least one second optical communication device; updating, based on the feedback information, a first initial parameter value set for the neural network maintained at the first optical communication device, to obtain a second initial parameter value set for the neural network; and transmitting the second initial parameter value set to at least one further second optical communication device, for training of the neural network to be conducted at the at least one further second optical communication device based on the second initial parameter value set.
