Abstract: Direct conflict mitigation in near real-time radio access network intelligent controllers is provided. A method for direct conflict mitigation in near real-time radio access network intelligent controllers may include determining a potential conflict between subsets of services that are requested for two or more applications among an available set of services of an intelligent controller. The apparatus may transmit conflict negotiation requests to each of the two or more applications requesting that the two or more applications perform conflict negotiation between each other to allocate the subsets of services among the available set of services, and process responses from each of the two or more applications indicating results of the conflict negotiation.

Abstract: A method is disclosed that includes communicating an indication of a signature via one or more links in a wireless network, wherein the signature has been computed by a base station of the wireless network over a plurality of configuration parameters of the base station and identifies at least a portion of a current configuration state of the base station. Another method is disclosed that includes assigning, at a base station in a wireless network, a signature using a context of the base station, wherein the assigning is performed so that the signature identifies at least a portion of a current configuration state of the base station. The method includes sending an indication of the signature to one or more entities in the wireless network. Apparatus and computer program products are also disclosed.

Abstract: A controller of a RAN detects an interferer is present in a region covered by antenna array(s) that provide a 3D view of segments of a cell, using at least a mapping from the segments to corresponding anomaly signatures, and using radio measurements taken in the segments, to determine segment(s) affected by the interferer. The controller performs mitigation of interference in the segment(s). A base station controlling the antenna array(s) determines that an event has been detected because radio measurement(s) of the segments of the cell meet an event detection threshold, and performs and sends to the controller multiple symbol-level radio measurements. The controller also causes channel sensing and radio measurements to be performed by the base station for steady state and states of interest in the cell. The controller correlates these radio measurements to map from segments to anomaly signatures and uses the mapping to perform interference mitigation.
