Abstract: Provided is a retainer (7), including a pair of annular members (8, 8), the pair of annular members (8, 8) being coupled to each other so that semispherical bulging portions (9, 9) which are opposed to each other form pockets (11) configured to retain balls (6). Abstract: A seal equipped bearing assembly includes a plurality of rolling elements interposed between opposite raceway surfaces defined in respective raceway rings; a sealing member to seal a bearing space delimited between the raceway rings; and a gap formation facilitating element defined in a seal contact face in the other of the raceway rings, the gap formation facilitating element being a projection provided in a circumferential portion of the seal contact face in the raceway ring. The gap formation facilitating element is configured to render the sealing member to be a non-contact seal or to contact so that the contact pressure is approximately zero when the bearing assembly is in a rotating state. The sealing member is provided with a suction preventing device for preventing the sealing member from being sucked onto the other of the raceway rings.

Abstract: The rolling bearing seal includes a core metal and rubber adhered to the core metal by vulcanization. Abstract: A sealed bearing assembly includes seal members each including a seal lip formed with multiple protrusions, and arranged such that oil passages are formed between the seal lip and a seal sliding surface which slides circumferentially relative to the protrusions such that the oil passages communicate with the bearing internal space and the exterior of the bearing, and prevent passage of foreign objects having particle diameters larger than a predetermined value therethrough. The seal lip and the seal sliding surface are arranged such that when the bearing rotates, lubricating oil in the oil passages are pulled into the spaces between the seal lip and the seal sliding surface such that fluid lubricating condition is created between the seal lip and the seal sliding surface, due to the wedge effect.
