    摘要: In the foreign object insertion detector device, the light (infrared rays) is transmitted into the internal space 13 of a tube body 11 implanted into a weather strip 9 and formed of elastic material and, if there occurs the insertion of a foreign object, then the foreign object produces a pressing force and applies the pressing force to the tube body 11 to thereby deform the tube body 11. If the tube body 11 is deformed in this manner, then the quantity of the light transmitted through the internal space 13 is caused to decrease. By judging whether a decrease in the quantity of the light transmitted through the internal space 13 is present or absent, the insertion of the foreign object can be detected. In order to able to detect the pressing force given from obliquely downward directions C and D by the foreign object with high sensitivity, in the obliquely downward car exterior side or obliquely downward car exterior side of the tube body 11 in the weather strip 9, as pressing means 12, there are formed cavity portions 31, 33 as well as projecting portions 37, 39. Thanks to this structure, the pressing force from the foreign object can be applied through the projecting portions 37 and 39 to the tube body 11 collectively without being dispersed.

    摘要: This invention prevents a power window from trapping a hand or the like during manual opening and closing of the window as well as during automatic opening and closing of the window. A current-flowing unit 56 flows a current in a closing direction in a power window motor 58 by turning on a sub-switch 57 for a passenger's seat window. While a catching detector 61 generates a detecting signal when an obstacle is present, a breaker 63 breaks a current flowing in a closing direction in the motor 58 through the unit 56 by turning off a master switch 39 for the passenger's seat. A reversing unit 65 rotates the motor 58 in a reverse direction by flowing a current in an opening direction in the motor 58. Even if an obstacle is present during an operation of closing the manual sub-switch 57, it is possible to release window, thereby freeing the obstacle.

    摘要: This invention aims to prevent an obstacle from being trapped between a vehicle window and a window frame. A supersonic wave f is emitted into a vehicle window W. A reflection wave i of the supersonic wave is received to decide whether the reflection wave i is one reflected from peripheral faces of a target to be detected or not. If the received reflection wave i is one reflected from the peripheral faces from the target, a driving motor M for the vehicle window W is stopped. Thus, when an obstacle contacts with the peripheral faces of the vehicle window, it is possible to previously prevent the obstacle from being caught by the window since a driving source for the vehicle window is stopped.

The outer protective assembly includes an inner cover and an outer cover. The inner and outer covers are coupled to each other to define a flat space for juxtaposing electrical wires of the wire harness. The inner and outer covers are bent in a U-shaped configuration around the flange to define the flange outward fitting portion.

    摘要: A grommet includes a smaller diameter tubular section, an increasing diameter tubular section, and a larger diameter tubular section. The smaller diameter tubular section is connected through the increasing diameter tubular section to the larger diameter tubular section in an axial direction. A U-shape folded portion is provided on a connecting portion (a middle diameter tubular section) between the smaller diameter tubular section and the increasing diameter tubular section. A flap section that spreads conically toward the increasing diameter tubular section is provided on an outer periphery of the smaller diameter tubular section or an outer periphery of the folded portion. The folded portion is stretched straightly when the grommet is inserted into a through-hole. When a vehicle body latching recess is engaged with a peripheral edge around the through-hole, the folded portion returns to the original shape, and a distal end peripheral edge of the flap section contacts with a vehicle body panel at a passenger room side to define a sound absorbing closed space.

The switching apparatus turns on and off a room light R in the motor vehicle. The switching apparatus comprises a limit switch 1 for issuing the off command to the room light R when a door is opened, a delay circuit 3 for generating a delay period from the time when the off command as issued to the light R to the time when the light R is to be turned off, and a regulator 4 for regulating the delay period generated by the delay circuit 3. It is possible for the user to set a desired lighting period by regulating the delay period, giving the motor vehicle high quality and versatility.
