摘要： A biodegradable aliphatic polyester, such as polylactic acid, is mixed with a monomer having allyl and molded into a molding having the crosslinking degree of the biodegradable aliphatic polyester increased. Thereafter, the molding is exposed to ionizing radiation to thereby obtain a molding excelling in heat resistance. Triallyl isocyanurate or triallyl cyanurate is used as the monomer having allyl.

摘要： A communication light detecting device interconnecting light transmission paths and collocated therebetween, comprises: an optical coupling body including a core portion for photo coupling with the light transmission paths, and a light extracting portion for extracting a part of the communication light as a leakage light; and a light detecting portion having a light receiving member for receiving the leakage light. The light extracting portion is preferable to possess a lower refractive index than that of the core portion. Besides, the light extracting portion is preferable to include a light detecting use groove with a groove width of 50 μm or more and 140 μm or less formed by cutting and separating the core portion. Besides, the light extracting portion is preferable to be the optical coupling body in which outer diameter of the core portion is different from the outer diameter of a core of the light transmission path.

Also, this memory unit is utilized to make it possible that in application to the apparatus for recording video signals and audio signals in superimposed relation, the video signal is rewritten only in itself.

摘要： There is provided an image processing apparatus which comprises an inputting part for inputting an image signal, an attenuating part for attenuating a predetermined frequency portion of the image signal inputted by the inputting part, and a controlling part for controlling an attenuation characteristic of the attenuating part for attenuating the predetermined frequency portion, in accordance with a compression ratio of the image signal inputted by the inputting part. There is also provided an image processing apparatus which comprises an inputting part for inputting an image signal, an enhancing part for enhancing a high frequency band of the image signal inputted by the inputting part, and a controlling part for controlling a high-frequency-band enhancement characteristic of the enhancing part in accordance with a compression ratio of the image signal inputted by the inputting part. There is also provided an image processing apparatus which comprises an inputting part for inputting an image signal, a discriminating part for making a discrimination as to a particular attribute of the image signal inputted by the inputting part, a generating part for generating an attribute signal indicating that the image signal inputted by the inputting part represents an image having the particular attribute, in accordance with an output of the discriminating part, and a combining part for combining an output of the generating part with the image signal.

摘要： A video signal processing device displaying both image and process information includes multiplexing circuitry for multiplexing a second video signal with a first video signal. Control circuitry is provided for controlling a multiplexing ratio of the first and second video signals in the multiplexing circuitry. A display is provided for simultaneously displaying at least a part of a video image which corresponds to the first video signal, and also for displaying a state of the multiplexing operation being performed by the multiplexing circuitry under the control of the control circuitry. Preferably, only a peripheral portion of the image is faded in the view finder. Alternatively, a bar graph on the side of the image in the view finder indicates the degree of fading the image is subjected to.
