摘要: Recommending and activating scenes in a multimedia system are provided. The techniques of the present disclosure can allow the states of the components in the multimedia system to be captured in a scene. Once the scene has been saved, the scene can be activated at a later time. A controller device for recommending scenes by comparing the current state with states of components in saved scenes is also provided. The controller device can also determine if media is playing in a current scene, and activate a selected scene without playing the media content. Once the selected scene is activated, the media playing in the current scene can be switched, and the media playing in the selected scene can be played.

摘要: An audio/video stream may include an audio stream and a video stream. The video stream may be decomposed into a plurality of face streams. Each of the face streams may include a cropped version of the video stream and be focused on the face of one of the individuals captured in the video stream. Facial recognition may be used to associate each of the face streams with an identity of the individual captured in the respective face stream. Additionally, voice recognition may be used to recognize the identity of the active speaker in the audio stream. The face stream associated with an identity matching the active speaker's identity may be labeled as the face stream of the active speaker. In a “Room SplitView” mode, the face stream of the active speaker is rendered in a more prominent manner than the other face streams.

摘要: Systems and methods for relaying in broadcast single-frequency networks are disclosed herein. A single-frequency network can be formed in part using transmitters that receive data via a cooperative relay channel instead of a station-to-transmitter link. In some embodiments, a second channel may use a portion of its transmission time to relay the information to the single-frequency network transmitter using time-division multiplexing. In other embodiments, a second channel may encode the relayed information on a second layer using layer-division multiplexing.

To this end, the present invention obtains block division information from a bitstream, determines the division form of an image by computing and predicting omitted information if there is omitted information in the obtained information, and performs video decoding in the unit of a divided block.

摘要: A system is proposed for the acquisition and the combined displaying of video output signals, for example in the VGA standard, coming from a set of various instruments and apparatuses (2a, 2b, 2c, . . . 2n), each of which reproduces at least a signal representing the evolution of a physiological parameter, a diagnostic image of a part of the body of a person, or both. The system collects a video signal in the section connecting each of the instruments and apparatuses (2a, 2b, 2c, . . . 2n) with a monitor (3a, 3b, 3c, . . . 3n). The video signals are carried to a central unit (1) for collection and processing of the signals and then presented in a single image on a central monitor (7).

摘要: Systems and methods for saving and restoring scenes in a multimedia system with minimal configuration are provided. The techniques of the present invention can allow the states of the components in the multimedia system to be captured in a scene. Once the scene has been saved, the scene can be restored at a later time. A remote control system for recommending scenes by comparing states of components in the current scene with states of components in saved scenes is also provided. The remote control system can also recommend scenes based on usage patterns. Moreover, the remote control system can allow users to designate one or more saved scenes as favorite scenes.

摘要: Embodiments relate to customizing contents displayed at a sink device by converting received contents from a source device. The source device provides, to the sink device, the contents and display information of the source device. The display information of the source device may indicate spatial arrangements (e.g., locations and sizes) of the contents in the source device. The sink device may map sub-display regions of the source device to sub-display regions of the sink device. Moreover, the sink device generates output images for display in sub-display regions of the sink device according to the mapping. By mapping display regions at the sink device, images can be displayed in different arrangements at the sink device without the source device having any information on the configuration of sub-display regions of the sink device.
