    摘要: Disclosed is a process for the synthesis of 2-vinyl-4,6-diamino-S-triazine having the following structural formula: ##STR1## which comprises heating an imidazolyl-S-triazine compound represented by the following general formula: ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 stands for a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or an ethyl group, and R.sub.2 stands for a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, or an isocyanuric acid-addition product thereof under reduced pressure in the presence of a polymerization inhibitor.According to this process, 2-vinyl-4,6-diamino-S-triazine can be manufactured at a low cost on an industrial scale.

    摘要: Disclosed is an isocyanuric acid adduct of 2-vinyl-4,6-diamino-S-triazine represented by the following structural formula: ##STR1## This adduct is prepared by heating 2-vinyl-4,6-diamino-S-triazine and isocyanuric acid in the presence of water, preferably by using sodium sulfide as a polymerization inhibitor. This adduct is valuable as a hardening agent for an epoxy resin.

    摘要: Disclosed is a 2-substituted-4,6-diamino-s-triazine/isocyanuric acid adduct represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R stands for an alkyl group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, an unsubstituted or cyano group-substituted aryl group, or a group of the formula R.sup.1 --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 -- in which R.sup.1 stands for an alkoxy group having up to 20 carbon atoms, an acyloxy group, an amino group, an N-substituted amino group, a benzotriazolyl group or a 2-alkylimidazolyl-(4)-dithiocarbonyl group, or by the following formula: ##STR2## wherein R.sup.2 stands for an alkylene group which may have an intervening imino or phenylene group.When this adduct is used for curing a polyepoxy resin, a cured product having good heat resistance, insulating property and adhesion and an excellent migration-preventing effect is formed.

    摘要: An imidazole-isocyanuric acid adduct having the following formula is disclosed: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a .beta.-cyanoethyl group and a .beta.-[3,5-diamino-s-triazinyl-(1)]-ethyl group, R.sub.2 stands for a monovalent hydrocarbon group having up to 17 carbon atoms, R.sub.3 is a member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom and an alkyl group having up to 4 carbon atoms, with the proviso that when R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom, R.sub.2 is a methyl or phenyl group and R.sub.3 is a hydrogen atom and when R.sub.1 is a .beta.-cyanoethyl group, R.sub.2 is a phenyl group and R.sub.3 is a hydrogen atom, and n is a number of from 0 to 2.This adduct has peculiar characteristics not possessed by ordinary salts. Namely, the adduct is stable in water, and it decomposes in a solvent or under heating. The adduct is valuable as a curing agent for epoxy resins, and it can be utilized for purification of imidazoles.
