摘要: A method and apparatus receive a user login and first menu selections through a graphic user interface of a multi-function printing device. The method processes one or more first sheets through a document handler of the multi-function printing device by following the first menu selections. Once finished processing the first sheet (or set of sheets) through the document handler, the method can then receive different (second) menu selections from the user. Then, the method processes one or more second sheets through the document handler by following the second menu selections. In order to provide greater ease of use, the methods herein present the user with an option to revert back to any of the previous menu selections (e.g., the first menu selections) through the graphic user interface. If the user chooses to revert to the first menu selections, the methods herein can process one or more third sheets through the document handler of the multi-function printing device by following the first menu selections. Eventually the method will receive a user logout through the graphic user interface, and after the method receives the user logout, the method clears the settings relating to the first menu selections and the second menu selections.

摘要: Web server processes can host multiple web applications that process multiple requests from multiple clients. Recorded diagnostic information may not provide a useful separation of server execution data (e.g., functionality executed to process a request) based on a client's use of the web server process. An effective method for separating server execution data by client information is provided herein. Dye is injected into a request from a client, the dye comprises information regarding the client application making the request and a transaction (e.g., client defined set of requests) that the request is comprised within. The dye injected request is sent to a web server process (e.g., on a web server) that extracts the dye and executes the request. During execution of the request, executed functionality is associated and stored with the extracted dye. The recorded server execution data may be organized based upon the request, client, application, and/or transaction.

摘要: Methods, articles of manufacture, and systems for evaluating tinnitus are disclosed herein. According to various embodiments, a tinnitus evaluation system may include a tinnitus evaluation module configured to perform one or more tinnitus evaluation tests. A tinnitus evaluation test may comprise generating a first single-frequency sound based at least in part on a sound of a patient's tinnitus, and generating a narrow-band sound centered at the frequency of the first single-frequency sound. Tests include a hearing threshold test, a loudness match test, a pitch match test, a bandwidth match test, a minimum masking level test, and a residual inhibition test.

摘要: Information is retrieved from the registry by creating a registry interface database containing information regarding registry data and uniquely identifying every registry entry for a registry interface. Source header files are generated using information about a program module, such as an application, contained in the registry interface database. The source header files are compiled with the application to generate the application's executable file. During run-time of the application, the registry interface is called by the application to retrieve registry data. If available, the registry interface retrieves the registry data and forwards this information to the application. In the event that the registry data is not available, the registry interface retrieves a default value in place of the registry data and forwards that default data to the application. A policy may be implemented by checking a policy area of the registry for the registry data and invoking the policy.

摘要: A method of determining the weight of animals and the development of plants in a controlled environment. The method includes measuring the increase in CO2 production over a test period. CO2 production is a measure of the metabolic rate and this is related to weight of animals and development of crops which can often be determined by weight. There is illustrated a poultry rearing house having vents, lights and an air heater. CO2 sensors are connected to a CO2 controller and in turn to a central controller. To test the increase in CO2 production over time, the birds are settled into a passive state with no feed and the lights turned off. The level of CO2 produced is measured. The vents are closed. After a time, the rate of Co2 produced is measured and the increase calculated.
