    摘要: Systems and methods of detecting and correcting the undesirable operation of a turbine by monitoring one or more sensor devices, where each sensor device monitors one or more operating parameter values associated with various turbine components. If any of the sensor devices detects that a particular operating parameter associated with one or more turbine components is operating in a range of unacceptable risk, then corrective action is taken which may include opening and or closing one or more of the steam valves associated with an inlet pipe until that particular operating parameter of the turbine is no longer operating in a range of unacceptable risk.

    摘要: A bearing assembly includes a thrust bearing casing surrounding a rotating shaft at a location intermediate ends of the rotating shaft, the rotating shaft including an active side shaft thrust plate and an inactive side shaft thrust plate, each of the active side and the inactive side shaft thrust plate affixed to and extending radially from the rotating shaft, wherein the active side shaft thrust plate receives a substantially larger axial force compared to the inactive side shaft thrust plate during operation of the rotating shaft; a first thrust bearing between the thrust bearing casing and the active side shaft thrust plate; and a second thrust bearing between the thrust bearing casing and the inactive side shaft thrust plate. The first thrust bearing and the second thrust bearing are of a different type, e.g., a tilting pad bearing and a land bearing including a tapered land and/or flat land.

The method includes calculating, by a control system, a gas turbine engine power output that is based at least in part on a predefined power generation system power output and a predefined steam turbine power output. The power generation system is operated to generate a power output that is approximately equal to the predefined power generation system power output. A signal indicative of a sensed operating power output of the gas turbine engine is transmitted from a sensor to the control system. A condition of the steam turbine is determined based at least in part on the sensed operating gas turbine engine power output and the calculated gas turbine engine power output.
