    摘要: A method for combusting a fuel includes, providing an oxidizer mass flow, providing a first oxidizer partial mass flow, combusting a fuel in the first oxidizer partial mass flow thus providing a mass flow of combustion products, providing the mass flow of combustion products to a duct, and ducting the mass flow of combustion products through the duct in a flow direction. A flow of a first supplementary fluid which is essentially aligned with the flow of combustion products is selectively provided as one of an oxidizer and a premixed fuel/oxidizer mixture. A further mass flow is discharged laterally offset with respect to a discharged mass flow of first supplementary fluid and across the flow cross section of the duct, to provide mass flows of supplementary fluids as laterally stratified layers of the respective supplementary fluids.

The control apparatus receives a load target of the system and a load change factor of the system to output a control signal of the frequency converter.

    摘要: A system and method for supercharging a combined cycle system includes a forced draft fan providing a variable air flow. At least a first portion of the air flow is directed to a compressor and a second portion of the airflow is diverted to a heat recovery steam generator. A control system controls the airflows provided to the compressor and the heat recovery steam generator. The system allows a combined cycle system to be operated at a desired operating state, balancing cycle efficiency and component life, by controlling the flow of air from the forced draft fan to the compressor and the heat recovery steam generator.

    摘要: A lubrication system is disclosed. The lubrication system may be used in conjunction with a gas turbine engine for generating power or lift. The lubrication system utilized a flow scheduling valve which reduces lubricant flow to at least one component based on an engine load. The lubrication system may further include a main pump which may be regulated by an engine speed. Thus, a lubrication system which provides a lubricant to engine components based on the load and speed of the engine is possible. The system may improve efficiency of the engine by reducing the power previously spent in churning excess lubricant by at least one engine component as well as reducing the energy used by a lubricant cooler in cooling the excess lubricant. The lubricant cooler size may also be minimized to reduce weight and air drag due to the reduced lubricant flow.

    摘要: A speed control system for an engine comprising at least one rotary load is provided. The speed control system may include a rotor speed controller configured to regulate speed in the rotary load based on a sensed rotor speed, exclusive of resonant mode speed oscillations, in closed loop feedback with a commanded rotor speed. To provide active damping of resonant mode speed oscillations, a resonance disturbance rejection controller may be configured to compensate a speed control signal by observing a component of the sensed rotor speed that is due to resonant mode oscillations. Based on the observed resonance component, the resonance disturbance rejection controller may compute an adjustment value for the speed control signal. In the particular case of gas turbine engines, the resonance disturbance rejection controller may effect active damping by compensation of a fuel flow request for a gas generator.
