    摘要: An electronic device has a display and has a touch sensitive bezel surrounding the display. Areas on the bezel are designated for controls used to operate the electronic device. Visual guides corresponding to the controls are displayed on the display adjacent the areas of the bezel designated for the controls. Touch data is generated by the bezel when a user touches an area of the bezel. The device determines which of the controls has been selected based on which designated area is associated with the touch data from the bezel. The device then initiates the determined control. The device can have a sensor for determining the orientation of the device. Based on the orientation, the device can alter the areas designated on the bezel for the controls and can alter the location of the visual guides for the display so that they match the altered areas on the bezel.

    摘要: A building automation system is provided in which a controller is connected to remote modules through a zone enclosure using RS-485 cables. Branches of modules extending from the zone enclosure are connected together by removable jumpers at the zone enclosure. Sets of branches of modules using different protocols are isolated from each other. Shorts in the RS-485 cables can be determined by disconnecting and reconnecting the branches from the network. The zone enclosure has a patch panel that contains modular RS-485 connectors. An RS-485 cable from the controller and pulled through the building along with other data cables is connected to the RS-485 connectors at the back of the patch panel. The modules are connected to the RS-485 connectors at the front of the patch panel through RS-485 cables.

    摘要: A patch panel and strain relief bar assembly includes a patch panel, two bracket assemblies connected to the patch panel and a strain relief bar connected to the bracket assemblies. Each bracket assembly includes a first bracket and a second bracket removably secured to the first bracket. The first bracket is connected to the patch panel, and the first bracket has a tab including a cantilever that secures the first bracket to the second bracket. The first bracket also includes two rollover edges connected to the tab. The second bracket is connected to the strain relief bar, and the second bracket has a tab including an aperture that receives a portion of the first bracket therein.
