    摘要: A connector includes a pair of connector housings, a fitting part provided in one connector housing of the pair of connector housings, and a fitted part provided in another connector housing and to which the fitting part is fitted. The fitted part has a frame and a movable housing. The movable housing is arranged within the frame, and is movable in a fitting direction. Timing to complete fitting between the movable housing and the fitting part is different from timing to complete fitting between the frame and the fitting part. The frame and the movable housing have a locking part which temporarily locks the movable housing within the frame. The locking part is restored by releasing the temporary locking in a state in which the fitting between the fitting part and the movable housing is completed. A periphery of the restored locking part is covered with a protection part.

The wall is characterized as perpendicular to the plane. The interposer is configured to couple to the housing. The interposer includes a plurality of mating pins oriented parallel to the plane. Each of the mating pins defines a forked end configured to make electrical contact with each of the header pins when the interposer is inserted into the opening.

    摘要: A method for producing a plug-in connector includes stripping a cable on a free end in a first and second region of a sheath of the cable, where a shield is disposed below the sheath on the cable. The method includes disposing a first electrically conductive spring element in the first region, and removing the sheath and the shield from the second region, thereby forming an end portion of the free end of the cable on which exposed wires of the cable are disposed. The method includes disposing contact elements on the exposed wires, and disposing a shield sleeve around the first electrically conductive spring element. The method includes fastening the shield sleeve on the sheath before and after the first electrically conductive spring element, and providing an insulating housing such that the insulating housing at least partially surrounds the shield sleeve and the free end of the cable.

    摘要: A multi-port cabling system for use in installing cable to an equipment rack or enclosure or within an equipment room or data center includes a cabling assembly comprising at least one connector head having a plurality of ports and at least one cable operatively connected to the plurality of ports. The at least one cable terminates internally within the connector head to operatively couple the cable to the plurality of ports. The system further includes a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket and the connector head are each configured for tool-less attachment of one or more cabling assemblies to the bracket. The mounting bracket is further configured to removably mount to an equipment rack or enclosure, and/or to a wall, to thereby install one or more cables. The cabling assembly and the cabling system help to eliminate on-site cable termination and testing during installation of cables to rack-mounted equipment.
