摘要: A method of manufacturing a fluid-filled elastic mount including an elastic body connecting an inner and an outer sleeve, and having a pressure-receiving and an equilibrium chamber which are filled with a non-compressible fluid and communicate with each other through an orifice. The method includes preparing an inner unit having an intermediate sleeve connected to the inner sleeve by the elastic body, and a pocket formed in the elastic body such that the pocket is open through the intermediate sleeve and has an axial dimension defined by axially opposite side walls of the elastic body. The method further includes placing the inner unit within a mass of the fluid, and press-fitting the outer sleeve on the inner unit so as to provide the pressure-receiving chamber filled with the fluid, while applying an axial force to at least one of the side walls in the axial direction of the mount, to thereby cause elastic deformation of the side wall or walls so as to expand into the pocket. The axial force is removed from the side wall or walls to increase the volume of the pressure-receiving chamber and thereby reduce the volume of the equilibrium chamber.

摘要: A fluid-filled cylindrical elastic mount including an inner and an outer sleeve; an elastic body interposed between the inner and outer sleeves; a rigid sleeve disposed over at least an outer circumferential surface of opposite axial end portions of the elastic body; a pressure-receiving chamber provided between the inner and outer sleeves, filled with a non-compressible fluid, and receiving a vibrational load to be damped; an equilibrium chamber provided between the inner and outer sleeves, filled with the fluid, and at least partially defined by a flexible wall; a restricted passage for restricted fluid communication between the pressure-receiving and equilibrium chambers; a recess-defining member disposed between the inner and outer sleeves, for defining a radially outwardly opening recess, the outer sleeve covering the recess to provide a space of a predetermined volume; and an elastic sleeve for fluid-tight sealing between the outer and rigid sleeves. A portion of the elastic sleeve which is aligned with the space, is spaced apart from the outer sleeve so as to provide a flexible diaphragm in the space, the flexible diaphragm serves as the flexible wall, and the equilibrium chamber is provided in the space. The rigid sleeve and the recess-defining member may be constituted by a single generally cylindrical member.

摘要: A fluid-filled cylindrical elastic mount having an elastic body between an inner and an outer sleeve, a movable member movably disposed in a pressure-receiving chamber defined by the outer sleeve and the elastic body, a rigid member cooperating with the outer sleeve to define a space diametrically opposite to the pressure-receiving chamber in a load-receiving direction of the mount, and a partition member having a flexible portion and dividing the space into two sections one of which serves as an equilibrium chamber disposed diametrically opposite to the pressure-receiving chamber. The movable member and the inner surface of the pressure-receiving portion define a fluid resonance portion for isolating high-frequency vibrations. An orifice passage is spirally formed for fluid communication between the pressure-receiving and equilibrium chambers, for damping low-frequency vibrations.

摘要: A fluid-filled elastic bushing including an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve disposed radially outwardly of the inner sleeve, an elastic member elastically connecting the inner and outer sleeves, so as to provide an assembly having a plurality of fluid-filled chambers which are spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction of the sleeves and an orifice for fluid communication between the chambers, and a wing member disposed in at least one pressure-receiving chamber of the fluid chambers to which a vibrational load is applied. The wing member is supported by one of the sleeves and the elastic member, and cooperates with the assembly to define a restricted portion within the pressure-receiving chamber. A restrictor member is fixedly disposed so as to extend in the elastic member in an axial direction of the elastic bushing, for limiting axial elastic deformation of axial end portions of the elastic member which define opposite ends of the pressure-receiving chamber as viewed in the axial direction of the elastic bushing.

摘要: A printhead assembly including a printhead module and a mounting structure is described. The printhead module is mounted on a receiving surface of the mounting structure and includes a first edge and a second edge opposite the first edge. The first and second edges extend beyond edges of the receiving surface by a first distance in a first direction and are positioned between featured edges of the mounting structure in a second direction that is substantially perpendicular to the first direction. Each featured edge includes a first feature protruding from the featured edge by a second distance in the first direction, where the second distance is greater than the first distance. The first features extend beyond the first and second edges of the printhead module. Each featured edge includes a recessed second feature configured to receive a first feature of a neighboring mounting structure.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for printing are described. A first mode of printing includes actuating a set of two or more actuators configured to drive printing fluid ejection from a corresponding set of two or more nozzles. In response to a drive signal, each actuator pressurizes a corresponding pumping chamber and ejects a printing fluid from a nozzle in fluid communication with the pumping chamber. The printing fluid ejected from the set of two or more nozzles represents a single pixel of an image being printed. A second mode of printing is in response to determining that a nozzle in the set of nozzles is operating defectively, and includes adjusting the one or more drive signals to the one or more remaining nozzles in the set such that the volume of printing fluid ejected from the remaining nozzles compensates for a lack of printing fluid ejected from the defective nozzle.

摘要: An image recording liquid obtained by changing a mixing proportion of a plurality of recording liquids based on an image signal is transferred as a continuous flow to an image receiving medium to form an image thereon. To the image receiving medium, the image recording liquid is transferred in an image forming width, and a dummy liquid for forming substantially no image is transferred to the outside of the image forming width. Both edges of the image recording area are prevented from being raised or thickened on the image receiving medium or from spreading over in the width direction. The image density is prevented from increasing or decreasing on the edge of the image, the stream line of the image recording liquid can be prevented from being distorted, and the image quality can be enhanced. In another mode, the dummy liquid continues to a fore end and/or a rear end of the image forming area and is transferred to the image receiving medium.

摘要: A method for processing photosensitive materials in which photosensitive materials are conveyed along a serial conveyance passage while guiding the photosensitive materials on both sides thereof by using pairs of guide members to successively perform development processing steps comprises the steps of dividing the conveyance passage into a plurality of blocks, a spacing distance between the pair of guide members on the conveyance passage being changeable in each of the divided blocks, and changing the spacing distance between the pair of guide members in each of the blocks, when a photosensitive material having a different widthwise dimension is introduced into the conveyance passage, in accordance with the widthwise dimension of the photosensitive material before introducing a forward end of the photosensitive material having the different widthwise dimension into each of the blocks. Therefore, when photosensitive materials having different widthwise dimensions are alternately processed, it is possible to start processing for a following photosensitive material during a period in which a preceding photosensitive material is processed on the conveyance passage.
