摘要: An endoscope apparatus for inspecting an object including an insertion section insertable into the object and having a distal end and a proximal end, an image guide arranged within the insertion section and having entrance and exit ends arranged at the distal and proximal ends of insertion section, respectively, an objective lens system arranged at the distal end of insertion section for forming an optical image of the object onto the entrance end of image guide, an eyepiece lens system arranged at the proximal end of insertion section for projecting the optical image transmitted through the image guide onto an observating position, a first piezo-electric bimorph arranged at the distal end of insertion section for vibrating the entrance end of image guide in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the insertion section over a given distance, a second piezo-electric element arranged at the proximal end of insertion section for vibrating the exit end of image guide in the same direction and over the same distance as those of the entrance end of image guide, so that annoying black mesh and Moire fringe are removed.

摘要: Thermotherapy apparatus used for performing a thermotherapy for a diseased part of a tumor such as a cancer of a living body. A heating portion is arranged in a distal end portion at the body cavity side of a probe which can be inserted in the body cavity through an endoscope or the like or a distal end portion at the body cavity side of an insertion portion of the endoscope. The heating portion has a far-infrared radiation ceramic member, and a heater for heating the far-infrared radiation ceramic member.

摘要: A connector for a light guide cable of an endoscope comprises a connector body having one end connected to a light guide cable and the other end flush with a light-receiving face of a light guide inserted in the connected body, an electrically insulating member surrounding the connector body, and contacts embedded in the outer surface of the insulating member. None or almost none of its members protrude from the forward end or the outer periphery of the connector, whereby the connector may be fitted into a receptacle in fluid-tight fashion and can be easily cleaned and fully dried after cleaning.
