    摘要: An image detection device includes a light source, an image sensor, a light guiding device, an image focusing device and a housing. The light source is configured to irradiate a pattern image with a light beam. The light guiding device is located on a first light path from the light source to the pattern image and is configured to guide the light beam irradiated by the light source to the image and further guide the light reflected from the pattern image to the image sensor along a second light path. The image focusing device is located on the second light path of from the light guiding device to the image sensor and is configured to focus the light reflected from the pattern image on the image sensor. The housing is configured to contain the light source, the image sensor, the light guiding device and the image focusing device.

    摘要: A nozzle testing device includes: a two-dimensional image sensor to capture an image of a pattern formed on a recording object by discharging ink from a nozzle row while moving the nozzle row and the recording object relative to each other in a direction orthogonal to the nozzle row; a light source unit provided such that regularly reflected light by the pattern forms a regular reflection area in the image of the pattern captured by the two-dimensional image sensor; and a detection unit to analyze the image to detect discharge failure of the nozzles. The regular reflection area is formed in the image such that a dimension in a direction corresponding to the direction of relative movement between the nozzle row and the recording object is greater than a dimension in a direction orthogonal to the direction corresponding to the direction of relative movement in the image.

    摘要: An image capturing device includes an image capturing unit, a moving unit, a detector, and a determiner. The image capturing unit includes an optical transmission member; and a sensor capturing an image of the subject via the optical transmission member. The moving unit moves the image capturing unit in an optical axis direction of the sensor. The detector detects a contamination from first and second images. The first and second images are captured by the sensor when the image capturing unit is located at first and second positions in the optical axis direction, respectively. The second position is spaced away from the subject than the first position in the optical axis direction. The determiner determines that a contamination is deposited on the optical transmission member when a difference in the number of pixels in which a contamination is detected between the first and second images is less than a threshold.
