Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are disclosed for implementing recovery from a communication failure. A method includes receiving, by a first user equipment, an indication that a second user equipment has experienced a failure, where the first user equipment and the second user equipment are part of a same device, and where the first user equipment is configured with a first primary reliability group and where the second user equipment is configured with a second primary reliability group; based upon the indication, the first user equipment transmitting to a network equipment a first signal to activate a secondary reliability group for the first user equipment; and receiving, by the first user equipment, a second signal to use the secondary reliability group, where the second signal is at least partially based upon the first signal transmitted from the first user equipment.

Abstract: A technique includes transmitting a request for the delivery of multicast data; receiving the multicast data via a unicast data radio bearer or a multicast data radio bearer, wherein the user device is located in a first cell; receiving, by the user device from the base station, a connection suspend message, wherein the connection suspend message includes: information describing a radio access network (RAN) multicast area (RMA) for the delivery of the multicast data via a multicast data radio bearer, and a group identifier associated with the multicast data, wherein the RMA includes a list of one or more cells that has been updated by the base station to include the first cell where the user device is located; entering, by the user device, a low activity state in response to the connection suspend message; and, receiving, by the user device, the multicast data via the multicast data radio bearer.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to time domain resource allocation for multicast broadcast service. A first device receives, from a second device, DCI comprising a TDRA field, and determines, based on at least one of an identifier for scrambling the DCI, a RRC state of the first device or a type of traffic configured for the first device, a TDRA list from a set of configurations for TDRA. Then the first device applies, based on the TDRA list, the TDRA field for reception of the traffic from the second device. In this way, a TDRA list to be used may be determined in an optimal manner, with all terminal devices receiving multicast and broadcast traffic determining common values for time domain resources where data traffic would be scheduled.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product receive, at a network node of a communication network, information about an accumulated packet delay in the communication network. The method, apparatus and computer program product estimate next hop transport delay and estimate or measure a processing delay of the network node. The method, apparatus and computer program product update the accumulated packet delay by adding the next hop transport delay and the processing delay to the accumulated packet delay. The method, apparatus and computer program product cause transmission of information about the accumulated packet delay in a header of a packet carrying user data or a control packet in the communication network to a next hop node of the communication network.

The method may then include receiving point-to-multipoint data, from the device on the group-common transport channel, based on the updated point-to-multipoint configuration.
