摘要: Examples of the disclosure data enable interactions of a user with an object to be used to improve the classification of the object in mediated reality applications. In examples of the disclosure LiDAR data is obtained from a mediated reality device. The mediated reality device is used by a user and the LiDAR data includes data points representing at least part of an object. Position data relating to a position of the user's hand relative to the object is obtained and interaction data indicating how the user's hand is interacting with the object is also obtained. At least some of the interaction data is obtained from an electromyography device coupled to the user. The position data is used to map the interaction data to the LiDAR data to enable the interaction data to be used to classify the object.

摘要: A perfusive tissue phantom is disclosed. An example tissue phantom includes a chamber with fluid inlets disposed on a first side and fluid outlets disposed on a second side spaced apart from the first side. The tissue phantom also includes a hydrogel region connected to at least one of the fluid inlets and including a permeable hydrogel with structural characteristics that simulate a type of tissue. The tissue phantom also includes a microfluidic conduit coupled to at least one of the fluid inlets. The microfluidic conduit is a flexible, semi-permeable fiber that simulates a blood vessel. The structural characteristics of the permeable hydrogel may include a selected density, porosity, rigidity and dimension that approximate a target density, porosity, rigidity and dimension of interstitial space of the type of tissue.

摘要: Examples of the disclosure relate to an apparatus for providing electrical input signals to a biological sample so as to provide a plurality of corresponding electrical output signals. The apparatus is configured so that the electrical output electrical signals have passed through the biological sample. This means that the electrical output signals comprise of information about the properties of the biological sample. In examples of the disclosure, the electrical input signal can be controlled so that the electrical output signals comprise of general features and sub-features that enable characteristics of the biological sample to be identified. The use of these general features and sub-features can enable the characteristics to be identified without creating a reconstruction of the biological sample.

摘要: Examples of the disclosure relate to an apparatus for analysing fluid samples. The apparatus is sized and shaped so that it can fit into an input port of an electronic device. The input port could be an existing port of the electronic device such as an input port for a memory card or a charger. The electronic device can be configured with a heat transfer means so that, when the apparatus is inserted into the electronic device, heat from the electronic device can be used to control the temperature of a fluid sample within the apparatus. This can enable the reaction conditions within the apparatus to be controlled.
