摘要： A belt device includes a movable belt, a detection target, an optical detector, and a cleaner. The belt is looped around a plurality of supporting members. The detection target is disposed extending along a direction of belt movement on at least one side of the belt in a width direction of the belt intersecting with the don of belt movement. The optical detector detects the detection target. The cleaner is attached to at least one of the plurality of supporting members to clean the detection target.

摘要： An electrophotographic apparatus is provided in which toner stick hardly occurs by improving the cooling effect on the strip of paper sheets after they are heat-fixed. This electrophotographic apparatus includes a fixing unit for heating toner transferred on a continuous strip of paper sheets and fixing the toner, and a folding unit for supplying a folding force to the continuous strip of paper sheets. A conveyer unit is arranged in the back stage of the electrophotographic apparatus for transferring the continuous strip of paper sheets, received from folding unit, in the horizontal direction.

摘要： A bearing detachably and rotatably holds a photoconductor. A bearing holder firmly holds the bearing. A rotating lever is provided on a rotation axis of a photoconductor between the photoconductor and the bearing holder. The bearing holder and the rotating lever are provided with many protrusions at regular intervals. At a first relative position of the bearing holder and the rotating lever, the protrusions on the bearing holder are located in between the protrusions on the rotating lever. At a second relative position of the bearing holder and the rotating lever, the protrusions on the bearing holder ride on the protrusions on the rotating lever thereby pushing the photoconductor away from the bearing and detaching the photoconductor from the bearing.
