摘要: In an image processing apparatus for performing image restoration by utilizing iterative calculations based on a captured degraded image and a degradation function obtained in or before photographing, a residual is calculated in each time of iteration in the iterative calculations and the rate of variation from the previous residual to the newly obtained residual is calculated. When the rate of variation of the residual becomes equal to or lower than a predetermined threshold value, it is judged that the iterative calculations are converged.

摘要: An image of which restoration degree is determined based on the difference between each pixel and a neighboring pixel of the pixel in a light receiving element array 101 is divided into a plurality of areas based on the determined restoration degree, and the areas of the image are each restored in accordance with the determined restoration degree. By doing this, not only ringing and noise enhancement can effectively be suppressed but also the border between the areas which is conspicuous when the image is divided into two kinds of areas becomes less conspicuous, so that a natural restored image can be obtained.

摘要: An image forming optical system comprises interchangeable lens 14 of a single lens reflex camera and reduction relay optical system 15. A three-color separating prism 16 that separates the photo image into two green photo images (G1 and G2) and a red/blue photo image (R/B) is located behind the image forming optical system, and CCDs 19 through 17 that perform image sensing as to RB, G2 and G1 photo images are located behind the transparent surfaces of prisms 16a through 16c, respectively. G1 CCD 17 and RB CCD 19 perform image sensing for the same photo image area while G2 CCD 18 performs image sensing for a photo image area which is offset by distance .sqroot. {(PH/2).sup.2 +(PV/2).sup.2 } (PH: lateral pixel pitch, PV: vertical pixel pitch) in the lower right direction relative to G1 CCD 17.

摘要: Provided is a digital camera in which the user can easily recognize that an image is out of focus by viewing a display image. At the time of live view display, image capturing is performed every predetermined time in an image capturing unit 3 and images for live view display are successively recorded on an image memory 209. An evaluation value computing unit 230 in an overall control unit 211 obtains an image stored in the image memory 209 and calculates an evaluation value indicative of the focus state of the image. A display image control unit 240 obtains the evaluation value, determines a focus state of the image, and controls a process to be performed by a display image processing unit 250 in accordance with the result of determination. When the image is out of focus, an image quality degrading process is performed in the display image processing unit 250 and an image of low image quality is displayed on a display 10.

摘要: The present invention is a film housing device comprising a film housing member that houses developed film; a driving mechanism that feeds the film housed in said housing member to a position outside the housing member where the film may be visually observed by the naked eye; and an operating member to operate said drive mechanism. Using said construction, when the operating member of the film housing device is operated, the drive mechanism operates and the developed film is fed to a position outside the housing member where the film may be visually observed by the naked eye. Therefore, the photographic content of the film may be confirmed with the naked eye using only the film housing device where it is not necessary to connect the device to a film reading device such as film scanner.

摘要: A shot image degraded by an asymmetric degrading filter is corrected, the corrected shot image is modified into an updated image, the updated image is degraded by use of the degradation function obtained at the time of shooting, and the residual between the degraded modified image and the shot image is calculated. Then, with the modified image as a new image to be processed, the image modification and update, the image degradation and the residual calculation are iterated until the calculated residual is smaller than a predetermined threshold value. When the residual is smaller than the predetermined threshold value, the corresponding updated image is used as the restored image.
