Abstract: A first signal processing apparatus, to which a first endoscope apparatus including a first image sensor is detachably attached and communicably connected with a second signal processing apparatus to which a second endoscope apparatus including a second image sensor is attached, the first signal processing apparatus being configured to process a first imaging signal generated by the first image sensor or a second image signal generated by the second image sensor, includes a control unit configured to control a process inside the first signal processing apparatus in accordance with communication with the second signal processing apparatus. The control unit processes the first imaging signal when a first command is received, and when a second command is received, the control unit controls the process inside the first signal processing apparatus to make the process of the second imaging signal to correspond to the second command.

Abstract: An image processing device includes a processor including hardware. The processor is configured to: acquire an image data including an annular side observation image and a direct view observation image forming a circle formed from a center of the side observation image to an inner circle; in a case of normal observation in which electronic zooming processing is not performed, generate a first display image including a boundary portion between the side observation image and the direct view observation image in a display area; and in a case of magnified observation in which the electronic zooming processing is performed, generate a second display image in which a boundary portion between the side observation image and the direct view observation image is shielded by a mask.

Abstract: A video processor includes an identification section configured to identify a kind of an endoscope, an electronic zoom processing section configured to magnify by a first magnification factor and a second magnification factor larger than the first magnification factor, and a mode setting section configured to set to a first mode of enabling selection of a first processing pattern, and a second processing pattern, when connection of a super-wide angle endoscope is identified, and set to a second mode enabling selection of the second processing pattern when connection of a single visual field endoscope is identified, wherein when the mode setting section performs electronic zoom processing by the second magnification factor in the first mode, the electronic zoom processing section cuts out an image so that only the optical image of the forward visual field is displayed and magnifies the image with the second magnification factor.

Abstract: A curved tube for an endoscope includes: a curved tube body including a locked portion provided on an inner peripheral surface of the curved tube body; an operation wire configured to perform a bending operation of the curved tube body; a pipe member which is press-fitted to the operation wire and is locked to the locked portion of the curved tube body; and particles interposed between an outer peripheral surface of the operation wire and an inner peripheral surface of the pipe member. The particles are higher in hardness than materials forming the operation wire and the pipe member and are buried to dig into the outer peripheral surface of the operation wire and the inner peripheral surface of the pipe member.

Abstract: A first signal processing apparatus includes: an image processing unit configured to at least execute a composition process of generating composed image information in which first image information or second image information and textual information are superimposed; and a control unit configured to control the process of the image processing unit in accordance with communication with a second signal processing apparatus. The control unit selects either one of the first image information and the second image information, and when the second image information is selected, the control unit outputs a first command for instructing the second signal processing apparatus not to superimpose the second image information and the textual information related to the second image information, and causes the image processing unit to generate composite image information in which the second image information and the textual information related to the second image information are superimposed.
