    Abstract: A needle holder for holding a curved needle to which a suture thread is connected. The needle holder includes a flexible tube; and a grasper provided at a distal end of the flexible tube. The grasper includes a first jaw having a groove, and a protrusion at a distal end portion of the first jaw; and a second jaw movably connected to the first jaw. The grasper can hold the curved needle between the second jaw and the protrusion of the first jaw, and can hold a part of the suture thread between a surface of the groove and the second jaw such that another part of the suture thread passes through a gap formed between another surface of the groove and the second jaw. The protrusion has a hook surface for hooking the suture thread extending outside the groove.

    Abstract: A blur correction apparatus includes a first fixing member, a moveable member and a second fixing member. A coil for generating a magnetic flux is arranged on the first fixing member. The movable member includes (1) an optical element, (2) a first magnet facing the coil, and (3) a second magnet arranged along a line parallel with an optical axis of the optical element and facing the first magnet, such that the first magnet is arranged between the second magnet and the coil. The movable member can move in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis. The second fixing member includes a hall element that is arranged adjacent to the second magnet. The second magnet is arranged between the first magnet and the hall element. The coil, the first magnet, the second magnet and the hall element are sequentially disposed in a line parallel with the optical axis, in this order.

    Abstract: A blur correction apparatus includes a first fixing member, a moveable member and a second fixing member. A coil for generating a magnetic flux is arranged on the first fixing member. The movable member includes (1) a first magnet facing the coil, (2) a second magnet arranged adjacent to the first magnet, such that the first magnet is arranged between the second magnet and the coil arranged in the first fixing member, and (3) an optical element.     Abstract: A treatment system can include a treatment instrument with an operation input element that has a magnet; and a sensor that detects a parameter that changes with a movement of the magnet together with the operation input element based on an operation of the operation input element. The treatment system can also include a control apparatus that can control the supply of electrical energy to the treatment instrument for operation of the treatment instrument. The control apparatus includes a processor that can determine a relationship between a change in a distance between the sensor and the magnet and a change in the parameter, and to set, based on the relationship, a threshold for switching between an ON state and an OFF state of the supply of the electrical energy to the treatment instrument.

    Abstract: An image pickup apparatus, having a casing including an image pickup device, includes: a casing that surrounds a shooting light flux and has a length in a direction of the shooting light flux; an image pickup device that receives the shooting light flux at a terminal end of the shooting light flux in the casing and picks up an image; a planar electric substrate arranged in parallel to an optical axis of the shooting light flux, outside an image pickup surface of the image pickup device; an electronic element mounted on the electric substrate, the electronic element generating heat along with operation of an electronic circuit; a heat transmission sheet placed on the electronic element; and a heat sink placed on the heat transmission sheet so that the heat transmission sheet is held together with the electronic element between the electric substrate and the heat sink.

    Abstract: A lens barrel of the present invention is a lens barrel holding a photographing optical system which is a zoom lens constituted by five groups and includes: a cylindrical cam barrel arranged to be rotatable around an optical axis; a first lens driving section driving the cam barrel around the optical axis; a plurality of first cam grooves carved on an outer circumferential surface of the cam barrel; and a plurality of second cam grooves carved on an inner circumferential surface of the cam barrel.
