    Abstract: A holding mechanism includes a fixed holding portion and a rotary holding portion.     Abstract: A holding mechanism has a first holding portion and a second holding portion. The first holding portion holds a part of an endoscopic guide member which is exposed to the outside of an endoscope. The second holding portion is disposed at a position different from that of the first holding portion. The second holding portion holds another part of the endoscopic guide member which is exposed to the outside of the endoscope, in an orientation different from an orientation of the first holding portion.
