    Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a processor including hardware, the processor being configured to: determine whether or not an overlapping portion is present in imaging areas included in a plurality of images captured by a plurality of imagers, respectively, the plurality of imagers being are inserted into a subject to capture images of an observation target at different positions from each other; determine whether or not each of the plurality of imagers is inserted to a focal point position at which the observation target is in focus; and generate a composite image that is composed of the plurality of images when it is determined that each of the plurality of imagers is inserted to the focal point position and that the overlapping portion is present in the imaging areas.

    Abstract: A training data generation device includes a computer, and a computer-readable storage medium. The computer is configured to: receive an input of an annotation for second image data obtained by imaging an observation target; reflect a result of the annotation in first image data that is related to the same observation target as the observation target of the second image data, the first image data having a different at least one of imaging mode and display mode from the second image data; and generate training data for creating an inference model by using the first image data and the result of the annotation reflected in the first image data, the first image data including image data of a plurality of images, and the second image data being image data of an image obtained by combining the plurality of images included in the first image data.

    Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an inference part which is capable of inference by using a first inference model for finding of a specific target object and by using a second inference model for discrimination about the specific target object and a control unit to which a first picked-up image obtained under a first image pickup condition and a second picked-up image obtained under a second image pickup condition different from the first image pickup condition can be inputted and which performs control such that in a case where the first picked-up image is inputted, the inference part is caused to execute inference by using the first inference model, and in a case where the second picked-up image is inputted, the inference part is caused to execute inference by using the second inference model.

    Abstract: An endoscope includes: a first lens located at a distal-most position, a part of the first lens being exposed outside; a movable lens barrel configured to be able to move, and configured to hold a movable lens disposed on a proximal end side with respect to the first lens; an actuator unit including a coil that drives the movable lens barrel and generates heat by receiving a supply of electric power; and a control section that outputs first electric power to the coil when holding the movable lens barrel at a predetermined position, and outputs second electric power larger than the first electric power to the coil when conducting heat generated from the coil to the first lens at the predetermined position.
