    Abstract: A passenger conveyor diagnostic system includes a processor that stores at least one visual inspection diagnostic, and a passenger conveyor system including at least one sensor configured to capture one or both of an image and a sound. The processor applies the at least one visual inspection diagnostic to one or both of the image and the sound to generate a diagnosed status of the passenger conveyor system, and overlays the diagnosed status of the passenger conveyor system on the image.

    Abstract: Provided are embodiments for a system and a method for performing passenger grouping in an elevator system. Embodiments includes receiving a call request placed by a user, and receiving user condition data for a user obtained using one or more sensors operably coupled to the controller. Embodiments also include calculating a final exposure rating based at least in part on the user condition data, and assigning the user to an elevator based at least in part on the final exposure rating.

    Abstract: An elevator system having elevator cars in a building, the system having: a first elevator car of the elevator cars configured to execute a self-diagnostic routine, wherein the first elevator car is configured to: instruct a subset of the elevator cars to enter an idle mode and analyze data shared by the first elevator car; process the operational data among the subset of the elevator cars; process the operational data among the subset of the elevator cars; collect operational data; share the operational data among the subset of the elevator cars; receive from the subset of the elevator cars an analysis of the operational data that is indicative of an operational state of the first elevator car; determine that a fault condition exists when the operational state is outside a threshold; and automatically execute a predetermined response upon when the first elevator car determines that the fault condition exists.

Aspects includes receiving, by the first controller, a first elevator destination call to a first floor, wherein the first destination call causes a first elevator car to dispatch to the first floor. First sensor data associated with a first passenger area associated with the first elevator car is collected, from the first sensor. A presence of a passenger in the first passenger area is detected based at least in part on the first sensor data. And the first elevator car is operated based on the presence of the passenger in the first passenger area.
