Abstract:
A method and telecommunication equipment item for detecting a cable of a network of cables, in particular of a network of electrical cables, especially ones which are not detectable to the naked eye. For example, a network of electrical cables may be embedded inside the partitions of a building. The telecommunication equipment item has a receiver and a detector of a predefined electrical signal injected into a network of cables as a function of electromagnetic signals received by the receiver. Thus, the receiver is not required to be a specific equipment item dedicated solely to this use but may be implemented in a telecommunication equipment item with which users are widely equipped such as a smartphone, a tablet, etc.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a management method for putting a piece of communication equipment involved in a plurality of connections between terminal devices of a communication network in standby, the method comprising: detecting that one of the connections is switching from an active state, in which data is transmitted via the connection, to an inactive state, in which no data is transmitted via the connection, keeping the communication equipment switched on if at least one other of the connections is in an active state, and putting the communication equipment on standby if none of the connections is in an active state.
Abstract:
A device is provided for controlling at least one electrical power supply switch. The device includes at least one input port configured to receive a control signal of the at least one switch and a control circuit coupled to the input port. The control circuit is configured to actuate the at least one switch. The control circuit is electrically passive in the absence of any control signal and is configured to be supplied electrically by the control signal.
Abstract:
A method for simultaneous localization and mapping of an object in an indoor environment, including autonomous location and mapping. The method includes generating a map of the indoor environment and determining movement of the object on the basis of data captured by the object, the localization and mapping method jointly generating the map and determining the movement. Ambiguity between two positions of an obstacle on a map during generation is thus resolved by taking into account the movement of the object generating the map, without the need for complex implementation elements.
