摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to a time division duplex (TDD) antenna sector switch. A device may determine one or more antenna sector configurations based on TDD beamforming, wherein the one or more antenna sector configurations are associated with first antenna sectors used to communicate with a first station device (STA). The device may initiate a TDD sector switch with the first STA to switch from the one or more first antenna sectors to one or more second antenna sectors. The device may cause to send, to the first STA, an action frame comprising TDD sector setting parameters associated with the TDD sector switch. The device may identify a response frame received from the first STA, wherein the response frame comprises the TDD sector setting parameters. The device may perform the TDD sector switch by switching from the one or more first antenna sectors to the one or more second antenna sectors.

摘要: Embodiments of methods for scanning in a directive multi-gigabit network are generally described herein. An apparatus of a station may include processing circuitry configured to decode a sector sweep beacon received from an access point, encode for transmission a sector sweep feedback message to include a beam refinement protocol (BRP) request, and encode for transmission BRP responses to BRP signaling received from the access point. The processing circuitry may be further configured to decode a link margin feedback signal received from the access point to determine an access point link margin, measure signal information associated with the link margin feedback signal to determine a received link margin measurement, and encode signaling for association with the access point based on the access point link quality and the receive link quality.

An apparatus of a station (STA) is disclosed that includes processing circuitry configured to decode a basic service set (BSS) operating channels field and a primary channel field from an access point (AP) or personal basic service set control point (PCP), wherein the BSS operating channels field is a bitmap that indicates which 2.16 GHz channels of a plurality of 2.16 GHz channels are permitted to be used for transmissions in the BSS, and wherein the primary channel field indicates a 2.16 GHz channel of the plurality of 2.16 GHz channels that is a primary channel of the BSS. The processing circuitry may be further configured to determine the primary channel, a secondary channel, a secondary1 channel, and a secondary2 channel based on the BSS operating channels field and the primary channel field.

摘要: Devices and methods of for wireless communication in a directional multi-gigabit (DMG) band are generally described. A device can detect a starting point of an awake window (AW). The device can encode a first announcement traffic indication message (ATIM) for directional transmission, after no more than a point coordination function (PCF) interframe space (PIFS) subsequent to the starting point, over a first beamformed link to a first station (STA). The device can encode a second ATIM for directional transmission subsequent to directional transmission of the first ATIM, within the AW and in a different direction than the directional transmission of the first ATIM, over a second beamformed link to a second STA. Other devices, systems and methods are also described.

A neighbor awareness networking (NAN) device may determine a first NAN data link (NDL) associated with a first frequency band, a first processing core, and a first NAN management interface (NMI). The NAN device may determine a second NDL associated with a second frequency band, a second processing core, and a second NMI. The NAN device may send one or more multi-band indications of at least one of the first NMI or the second NMI, the one or more multi-band indications being indicative of at least one of the first frequency band or the second frequency band. The NAN device may establish a NAN data path (NDP) with a second NAN device using at least one of the first NDL or the second NDL.
