摘要: A plurality of plate members are provided to be aligned with each other in order to define a plurality of coin paths in units of denominations which are aligned with each other and capable of communicating with a common path along which all inserted coins pass. Selectors are provided at a position immediately upstream from two successive aligned coin paths. Each selector is driven by a solenoid operative in accordance with a detection result from a coil for detecting denominations of coins. An inserted coin is directed to a corresponding coin path by the selector.

摘要: A coin checking device for a vending machine capable of electrically examining whether an inserted coin is a true coin or a counterfeit one as well as kind of the coin. The device detects a waveform representing passage of the coin and also whether the peak level of the waveform appears in a predetermined window or not and, if the peak level is detected in the window, judges that the inserted coin is a true one.

摘要: This invention is intended to reduce a line rate of a monitoring line necessary for transmission of a picture feature without complicating a system. A video signal xi (n0, n1) of each block is subjected to spread spectrum by multiplying the video signal xi(n0, n1) by a PN sequences SPN1 (n0, n1) (in a step S1). The resultant video signal is orthogonally transformed by DFT, DCT, WHT, or the like (in a step S2). An amplitude component Ai=|Xi(SE0, SE1)| of an arbitrary component (SE0, SE1) in a coefficient Xi(S0, S1) obtained by the steps S1 and S2 is extracted (in a step S3), and the extracted amplitude component is quantized with a step size M (in a step S4). The picture feature F[i] is given as a residue obtained under a modulus Nm of a quantized typical value obtained by the quantization (in the step S4) (in a step S5).

摘要: Feature quantities of a transmitted picture and a received picture are extracted from a first and second block-by-block feature quantity extraction parts which are provided on a transmitting and receiving sides, respectively. The extracted feature quantities are transmitted to a block degradation calculation part which compares the transmitted feature quantities and finds the degree of picture quality degradation for each block. Next, a median filter replaces the degree of picture quality degradation for the each block with a median of the degrees of picture quality degradation among the neighboring blocks of the each block. Then, a degraded block detection part compares the median with a predetermined threshold and detects a degraded block. Finally, a degraded region detection part removes an isolated degraded block and detects a degraded region. According to the invention, local picture quality degradation in a frame caused by transmission failure can be automatically detected with high accuracy.

摘要: A coin selection device is of a type in which reference voltage is automatically adjusted in accordance with variation in the output level of a receiving coil in a standby mode. A oscillating coil and a receiving coil are disposed on both sides of a coin path. A peak of output level of the receiving coil and the reference voltage are compared each other in a comparator for detecting whether inserted coin is true or false. The output level of the receiving coil in the standby mode is stored so that variations in temperature and circuit parameters can be taken into account in the reference voltage level.

摘要: A coin receiving apparatus for a vending machine capable of accurately checking a coin diameter as well as other coin characteristics such as material and a surface pattern for discriminating a true coin from a false one and receiving the former and rejecting the latter. The diameter and other coin characteristics are detected by examining peak values of output waveshapes of coin detectors by means of a window circuit. A single window circuit is provided for each denomination and upper and lower limit values of the window circuit are automatically changed in accordance with a coin characteristic under examination. Frequencies of excitation signals of the various coin detectors are also automatically changed. If a plurality of coins are successively inserted in the coin receiving apparatus without a sufficient time interval, discrimination of the inserted coins is inhibited and the inserted coins are returned.

摘要: A picture of 625/50 format is converted to a picture of 525/60 format by a format converter provided halfway of the transmission link (1). By thinning scanning lines from the 625/50 format with a scanning line thinning means (2) on an input side of the transmission link (1) and then thinning fields from the format of 525/60 with a field (frame) thinning means (4) on an output side, the formats are matched with each other. After that, a picture quality characteristic amount is extracted by picture quality characteristic amount extracting portions (3), (5) and transmitted to a central monitoring room (6). A comparing means (7) of the central monitoring room (6) compares received picture quality characteristic amount so as to monitor a transmitted picture quality on a transmission link.

The Y/C separator 152 separates a luminance signal from NTSC analog composite signal, which are sent out from the set-top box 14. The separated luminance signal has a band of 4 MHz. The PSNR calculator 153 calculates PSNR between the luminance signal from the low-pass filter 151 and the luminance signal from the Y/C separator 152.

摘要: Disclosed is a process for the preparation of rubber laminates, according to which a rubber laminate having a high bonding strength can be obtained by contacting an uncured composition A comprising a fluororubber and a metal oxide with an uncured composition B comprising an epichlorohydrin rubber and a phosphonium salt represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each stand for a hydrocarbon residue having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, which may be substituted, with the proviso that up to three of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 may be a primary, secondary or tertiary amino group of a fluoroalkyl group, and R.sub.5 stands for a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and curing the uncured compositions.
