Abstract: Disclosed is an elevator system for a building, the system including a first elevator for transporting a passenger with a first mobile device between a plurality of lobbies, the system comprising a controller that communicates with the first mobile device renders a plurality of determinations including: a first determination that the passenger is seeking to engage a tenant, whom is a building tenant, a second determination to provide directional information between a current location of the passenger and a first lobby on the first level, a third determination to assign the first elevator to transport the passenger from the first lobby to a second lobby on the second level to engage the tenant, the controller being configured to effect a plurality of transmissions including: a first transmission to the first mobile device to effect the second determination, and a second transmission to the first elevator to effect the third determination.

Abstract: A device commissioning system includes a terminal device, a data communication network, and a network controller. The terminal devices selects a device type of a component configured to operate in a control system, and outputs a device activation signal that requests a configuration file for commissioning the component according to a selected device type. The communication network is remotely located from the component and stores configuration files for commissioning different types of components. The network controller receives the device activation signal indicating a request to commission the component according to the selected device type and establishes a secure data link to deliver the configuration file in response to the device activation signal. The component receives the configuration file corresponding to the selected device type, and installs the configuration file to commission operation as the selected device type.

Abstract: A method for dynamic elevator door control is provided. The method is implemented by a system, which includes an elevator. The system procures passenger data, which can include a number of passengers presently travelling to a floor and a number of passengers awaiting to board at the floor. A determination is made by the system with respect a door operational time based on the passenger data. The system implements the door operational time to dynamically cause doors providing access to the elevator to remain open for a duration of the door operational time.
