摘要： Stabilizer mixtures that are capable of enhancing the resistance of polyolefins to degradation as a result of exposure to light and air, particularly at elevated temperatures, are obtained by reacting an .alpha.-olefin with an ester of a mercaptocarboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol, forming a reaction product of unknown structure containing thioether groups and carboxylic acid ester groups.

摘要： The resistance to deterioration of polyvinyl chloride resins when heated and worked is improved by combinations of polyvinyl chloride resin stabilizers and alpha-olefin oligomers obtained by oligomerization of a 1-olefin having from six to about twelve carbon atoms, and having a highly branched chain with alkyl substituents of at least two carbon atoms.
