The manufacturing method comprises the steps of preparing hydroxyapatite powder, molding a green compact, shaping the green compact, and sintering the green compact. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of preparing hydroxyapatite powder, molding a green compact, shaping the green compact, primary sintering, and secondary sintering. Furthermore, a cell culture base formed from the sintered compact described above is provided, by which affinity of various cells with bone can be properly determined. Moreover, a cell culture base by which affinity of various cells with bone can be properly determined is provided. The cell culture base is mainly composed of a calcium phosphate based compound, and is highly compacted.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a powder, by which it is possible to adjust the strength of the obtained powder is provided. The manufacturing method of a powder involves a step of preparing a slurry containing agglomerated particles of a synthetic material which is produced by reacting a first material and a second material under agitation, and a step of drying the slurry to obtain a powder of the synthetic material. The method has a feature that the particle size of the agglomerated particles is adjusted by, in the step of preparing a slurry, controlling agitation power for agitating the slurry. In the step of preparing a slurry, it is preferable that the slurry is initially agitated at a first agitation power, and at the time when the viscosity of the slurry approaches its maximum value, or at the time when the pH value of the slurry reaches the vicinity of the isoelectric point of the synthetic material, the agitation power is lowered from the first agitation power to a second agitation power. Further, it is preferable that before or after the completion of the reaction of the first material and the second material, the agitation power is increased from the second agitation power to a third agitation power.

    摘要: The method for manufacturing a sintered piece comprises preparing a molded piece of a composite including calcium phosphate compound such as hydroxyapatite, and baking the molded piece in an oxygen atmosphere to obtain the sintered piece. The oxygen concentration of the oxygen atmosphere is controlled to be not less than 25 vol %, and the relative humidity of the oxygen atmosphere is controlled to be below 30%RH. The baking is performed for 30 minutes to 8 hours at a temperature not less than 1000null C. and below a temperature at which thermal decomposition of the calcium phosphate occurs.
