摘要: A biomass-based porous carbon composite material and preparation thereof and an application thereof in CO2 adsorption are provided. In the biomass-based porous carbon composite material, with a pulping black liquid solid as a precursor, by arc treatment, porous carbon structures capable of physically adsorbing CO2 and basic substances capable of chemically adsorbing CO2 are obtained; with lignin in the precursor as the carbon source, and sodium hydroxide, sodium salts, and small-molecular carbohydrate degradation products in the precursor as the template and activator, porous carbon structures are obtained by arc thermal carbonization and self-activation; the basic substances are obtained by allowing sodium hydroxide and sodium salts in the precursor to undergo arc thermal decomposition. Further, the present disclosure relates to an application of the biomass-based porous carbon composite material in CO2 adsorption.

摘要: Provided are a method for preparing an adsorbent from industrial vermiculite, an adsorbent and application thereof. The method comprises steps: flaking and de-polluting the raw industrial vermiculite ore to obtain industrial vermiculite fine flakes; grinding the industrial vermiculite fine flakes to obtain industrial vermiculite powder; mixing the industrial vermiculite powder with a binder and granulating it to obtain an industrial vermiculite granular; and post-treating the industrial vermiculite granular to obtain the adsorbent. The adsorbent is prepared by the method. Applications may include purification of benzene gases such as toluene, sewage treatment, horticulture, soil improvement and applications in agricultural carriers. The adsorbent of the disclosure has the advantages of high cation exchange capacity, large internal specific surface area, strong adsorption of toluene and lightweight porous, etc. Moreover, the preparation method of the disclosure is simple, green, low production cost and easy to be produced on a large scale.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for removing petroleum and other liquid hydrocarbons from a body of water, using an environmentally friendly and inexpensive bi-component granular compound with sorption and buoyant properties, wherein one of the components of the compound is a microporous absorbent material that due to its high sorption capacity, is effective in removing petroleum and other liquid hydrocarbons from the surface of a body of water, and another component is a macroporous buoyant material with closed cell structure, the subsequent extraction of the absorbent compound impregnated with petroleum and other liquid hydrocarbons from the body of water, with further hydrocarbon recovery by distillation, and microporous component re-activation, that are carried out inside a fluidized bed reactor, using superheated steam, a method of bi-component granular floating absorbent compound manufacturing.

摘要: The present invention relates to a superior carbon adsorbent with or without a core. In one embodiment the carbon adsorbent of the present invention employs carbon adsorbent powder and an organic binding agent which are combined together with an appropriate solvent in an agglomeration step. In another embodiment the invention contemplates a core-in-shell adsorbent comprising an outer shell composed of a carbon and a non-adsorbing inert inner core. Low temperature processing of these agglomerates substantially preserves the binding agent within the final composition and allows one to prepare adsorbent products of high sphericity. The adsorbents of the invention possess superior characteristics such as higher mass transfer rate and CO2 working capacity for use in a H2PSA process.

摘要: The present invention relates to a diatomaceous earth composition with a low endotoxin content, comprising an agglomerated mixture of calcined diatomaceous earth particles and water, wherein the mass ratio of calcined diatomaceous earth particles and water is in the range of 1:1.0 to 1:2.0, and wherein the endotoxin content of the diatomaceous earth composition is equal to or less than 0.5 EU/mL. In a further aspect, the present invention relates to a method for producing the diatomaceous earth composition with a low endotoxin content. In another aspect, the present invention relates to the use of the diatomaceous earth composition with a low endotoxin content as a precoat agent for the precoat filtration in biopharmaceutical applications.

摘要: A method for capturing material extracted from biochar is provided comprising the steps of: (i) providing a biochar; (ii) contacting the biochar with an extraction media, where the extraction media causes the removal of residual compounds from the pores and surface of the biochar, creating a resulting extract comprised of the extraction media and removed compounds; and (iii) collecting the resulting extract. The method also can include other steps of extraction and purification. The method further comprises the step of applying the resulting extract to seeds, plants, soil, other agricultural products, or for use in other applications. A biochar having high levels of soluble signaling compounds is also provided, where the biochar is derived from a biomass source that together with predefined pyrolysis parameters produces resulting biochar having increased levels of soluble signaling compounds that are known to increase seed germination rates and early plant growth. Such soluble signaling compounds can then be collected in a biochar extract by contacting the biochar with an extraction media.

摘要: Provided is a biodegradable water absorbent having high gel strength and exhibiting an excellent absorption factor and excellent liquid passage rate through a gel. A water absorbent comprising a cross-linked naturally derived polymer and a clay mineral, the water absorbent being characterized in that the cross-linked naturally derived polymer and the clay mineral form particles, the clay mineral is present in the interior of the particles, and the clay mineral content constitutes 10-100 parts by mass (when dry) relative to 100 parts by mass (when dry) of the cross-linked naturally derived polymer. It is possible to produce this water absorbent by preparing a starting material fluid in which the naturally derived polymer is dissolved and the clay mineral is dispersed, adding a cross-linking agent to the starting material fluid, and cross-linking the naturally derived polymer.

摘要: The present invention relates to a super absorbent polymer and a preparation method thereof. The super absorbent polymer includes surface crosslinked polymer particles prepared by surface crosslinking of particles of a base resin, wherein the base resin is polymerized from a monomer composition including water-soluble ethylene-based unsaturated monomers, and a water-soluble component, wherein the water-soluble component has a ratio (dwt/d(log M)) of 0.9 or less over molecular weights (M) ranging from 100,000 to 300,000 when measured from an eluted solution after swelling the super absorbent polymer for 1 hour, and wherein the content of the water-soluble component is 5% by weight or less, based on the total weight of the super absorbent polymer, when measured after swelling the super absorbent polymer for 1 hour. The super absorbent polymer has excellent liquid permeability even when swollen without a reduction in centrifuge retention capacity or absorbency under load while having improved permeability.
