The system receiving information regarding measureable events, determining a distribution pattern of the measureable events, determining an identity of a user based on the distribution pattern and providing instruction to controllable devices to alter surrounding conditions based at least on the identity of the user. In another aspect of the invention, the controllable devices may represent a second set of sensors that are used to collect data of a second type. The information collected from the second set of sensors may be used to determine a health status of a user.

More particularly, a method for deploying sensors in a predefined space, wherein the method uses a building information model (BIM), the method comprising steps of in a processor, receiving, from the BIM, geometry information of a space which relates to a sensing coverage area of the space and sensor information, creating sensor family information defining at least two or more parameters of a respective sensor and information relating to the BIM, transmitting the sensor family information to the BIM, receiving spatial geometry information including elements within the space from the BIM, identifying at least one function of the space using the spatial geometry information, wherein the function of the space is used to identify a sensor from the sensor family information, determining a sensor location in the space for the identified sensor using the sensor family information and spatial geometry information, evaluating whether the identified sensor and/or sensor location for the space satisfies a sensing objective.

摘要: Lighting systems and methods for lighting fixture location mapping, for example, using a combination of photosensing readings and/or other sensors to identify a correct mapping. These systems and methods may be used to resolve ambiguities that could not be resolved using other processes, such an auto-commissioning method that identifies more than one possible mapping of the lighting fixtures to spatial locations. Such ambiguities are typically found in floor plans that are symmetrical. The systems and methods of the present invention record and utilize environmental profiles, such as ambient lighting levels and occupancy patterns, to match lighting fixtures to their respective spatial locations and provide resolution to ambiguities in an auto-commissioning method that identifies more than one possible mapping of the lighting fixtures to spatial locations.

The illumination controller is arranged to control illumination on the basis of said amounts of daylight and artificial light.

摘要: Lighting systems and methods for lighting fixture location mapping, for example, using a combination of photo sensing and/or other type of signaling, such as radiofrequency (RF) signaling is provided. The lighting systems may map a plurality of lighting fixtures to a plurality of spatial locations in a floor plan using the signal generating capabilities and sensors that are located within each of the lighting fixtures. The commissioning of the lighting fixtures may be automatically determined using a control system without significant manual intervention. In particular, the lighting fixtures may be mapped to their respective spatial locations by applying a heuristic analysis of strength of signals emitted and received between light fixtures and distances as provided in a building plan between spatial locations to which the light fixtures may be correlated.
