Abstract: Variance in luminance deterioration in a display is suppressed. A display device in which a self-illuminating display element is used to display information comprises a display component in which are disposed a plurality of pixels made up of a plurality of colors of sub-pixels, and a controller for controlling the drive of the display component. The controller records an accumulated luminance for each sub-pixel, and calculates a luminance adjustment amount for each sub-pixel based on the difference between the accumulated luminance values. The controller also detects when no one is viewing the display device, produces a corrected image according to the luminance adjustment amount, and displays the corrected image on the display component while no one is viewing the display device.

Abstract: A wireless communication system includes wireless communication devices capable of performing wireless communication with a wireless communication terminal and each disposed at a different position. The wireless communication devices include: a storage device configured to hold radio wave intensity data corresponding to position information of each of the wireless communication devices; and a processing device configured to, when starting communication with the wireless communication terminal, calculate a region in which interference of radio waves is able to occur based on the radio wave intensity data, calculate a usage status of a communication resource by the wireless communication devices present in the region based on a communication status of the wireless communication devices present in the region among the wireless communication devices, and adjust a communication parameter that defines a transmission amount of data in communication with the wireless communication terminal based on a calculation result of the usage status.

Abstract: An optical communication method is an optical communication method for performing optical communication with a light-emitting device serving as a communication target. The optical communication method includes: a first step of reading information relating to a distance to the light-emitting device and information relating to a size of a light-emitting region included in the light-emitting device, the information relating to the distance and the information relating to the size being stored in advance; a second step of controlling an imaging range of a camera based on the information relating to the distance and the information relating to the size, the camera capturing an image of light from the light-emitting device; and a third step of extracting a signal from light emitted from the light-emitting device based on image data that the camera has captured in the imaging range.

Abstract: A radar detection system according to the present disclosure is a radar detection system that detects an obstacle to an aircraft in an airport. The radar detection system includes a radar apparatus, and a control apparatus. The radar apparatus detects an obstacle by transmitting and receiving a radar signal, and acquires obstacle information regarding the obstacle detected based on the received radar signal. The control apparatus switches the operation of the radar apparatus according to the aircraft state of the aircraft. The control apparatus turns off the radar apparatus when the aircraft takes off, and turns on the radar apparatus when the aircraft makes a landing.
