    Abstract: A gesture input system (100) that accepts a user operation based on a motion of a portion of the body of a user and that produces an input signal indicating a direction of the motion and/or an amount of the motion of the portion of the body, includes a sensor (1) that detects the motion of the portion of the body of the user, a tactile feeling presenting apparatus (3) that presents a tactile feeling at a base point (61) set inside a space, and a control apparatus (2) that sets a chasing point on the portion (50) of the body detected by the sensor and that produces the input signal based on a variation of the relative positional relation between the chasing point and the base point. The tactile feeling presenting apparatus (3) continuously presents the tactile feeling at the base point (61) during a time period for the gesture input system to be in an input acceptable state where the gesture input system is able to accept the user operation.

    Abstract: A membrane electrode assembly for a fuel cell includes a catalyst layer having a first main surface and a second main surface, a gas diffusion layer disposed on a side of the first main surface, and an electrolyte membrane disposed on a side of the second main surface, wherein the gas diffusion layer includes a conductive material and a polymer resin, the conductive material comprises a fibrous carbon material, an average fiber diameter D of the fibrous carbon material is equal to or less than 25% of a thickness T of the catalyst layer, and in a cross section in a thickness direction of the catalyst layer, an arithmetic mean roughness Ra1 of the first main surface and an arithmetic mean roughness Ra2 of the second main surface satisfies the relation, Ra1>Ra2.

    Abstract: A pressure sensing element according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a first electrode including at least one protrusion, a second electrode facing the at least one protrusion, and a dielectric disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The dielectric includes a first dielectric and a second dielectric. The first dielectric is disposed between a top of the at least one protrusion and the second electrode, and is in contact with each of the top of the at least one protrusion and the second electrode. The second dielectric is disposed between a first portion of the first electrode and the first dielectric. The first portion does not include the at least one protrusion. The at least one protrusion has a higher elastic modulus than the first dielectric.
