摘要: A display device has a movable screen that is movable in a movement direction, a drive controller, a projector, and a position detector. The drive controller moves the movable screen relative to a reference position set at a prescribed position in a movement range of the movable screen. The projector performs drawing on the movable screen by irradiating the movable screen with light used for scanning the movable screen and projects a virtual image onto a target space based on light that passes through the movable screen. The position detector executes position detection processing for detecting that the movable screen is located at a detection position set in relation to the prescribed position. The position detector moves the movable screen and executes the position detection processing in a non-display period in which the movable screen is not irradiated with light from the projector.

摘要: A display device includes an image forming unit, a projection unit, a main body, and a position correcting unit. The image forming unit includes a display surface and forms an image on the display surface. The projection unit projects a virtual image corresponding to an image on a target space by using output light from the image forming unit. The main body is equipped with an image forming unit and a projection unit. The position correcting unit changes a display position of a virtual image relative to the main body on the basis of an orientation signal representing an orientation of the main body. The position correcting unit includes a plurality of correcting units that change a display position of a virtual image by using different means. The position correcting unit selects at least one correcting unit from a plurality of correcting units in accordance with a frequency component of an orientation signal, and causes the selected correcting unit to change a display position of a virtual image.

摘要: A screen includes a surface inclined with respect to a reference plane. A driver moves the screen in a movement direction orthogonal to the reference plane. When forming a first virtual image serving as a virtual image on a first virtual plane whose inclination angle α with respect to an optical axis of a projector is smaller than a predetermined value, a controller is configured to hold the screen in the movement direction. When forming a second virtual image serving as the virtual image on a second virtual plane whose inclination angle ß with respect to the optical axis of the projector is larger than the predetermined value, the controller is configured to move the screen in the movement direction.

摘要: In a display device, an irradiation unit includes an imaging optical system. The imaging optical system scans and irradiates a front surface of a screen with light to form an image. The light passing through the screen and output from the screen in a movement direction is incident on a projection unit as incident light. The projection unit irradiates a reflective member with the incident light to allow the reflective member to reflect the incident light to form a virtual image corresponding to the image in a target space. A locus of a focal position of the imaging optical system when the irradiation unit wholly scans the front surface of the screen is within a range between the front surface of the screen at a first position and the front surface of the screen at a second position.

摘要: A display apparatus that displays a virtual image having a shape that follows an object to be superimposed when viewed from a user is provided. An optical system that is included in the display apparatus and displays a virtual image that is three-dimensional includes a laser that emits laser light, a MEMS scanner that performs scanning with the laser light, a screen that forms an image on a surface of the screen with the MEMS scanner scanning the surface with the laser light, a projection unit that generates a virtual image by projecting the image formed onto a display medium, and a drive unit that reciprocates the screen scanned with the laser light in a predetermined section along an optical path of the optical system at a predetermined cycle. The MEMS scanner changes a vertical movement speed of a scan line according to a shape of an object included in a background and is superimposed with the virtual image in scanning performed with the laser light at a scanning cycle in synchronization with a cycle of the reciprocation.
