Abstract: Includes electric motor (330) driving driving wheel (610) , speed control unit (300) controlling driving of electric motor (330) based on instructed speed ωr*, brake control unit (400) controlling hydraulic brake (500) applying mechanical braking to an electromotive vehicle, speed sensor (340) detecting traveling speed ωr of the electromotive vehicle, and determination unit (200) determining whether the mechanical braking needs to be applied in response to the difference between instructed speed ωr* and traveling speed ωr, and controlling operation of brake control unit (400) based on the determination result. Abstract: An image display device includes a display panel which displays an image, a back cover disposed along the back surface of the display panel, a circuit substrate which is disposed on the back surface of the back cover and which is for driving the display of the image on the display panel, and a FPC which connects the circuit substrate and the display panel. The back cover has a recess recessed inward from the edge of the back cover in a plan view. The FPC is disposed so as to pass through the recess.
