Abstract:
Coordinate positioning machine or coordinate measuring machine (CMM), with a microprocessor control unit arranged to drive individual axis driver and a proxy module allowing the connection of external devices on a TCP/IP interface. The external devices are used for User interaction, by means of an http server embedded in the microprocessor control unit, or for advanced tasks including tuning and calibration of the dynamic parameters.
Abstract:
Tool rack for tools of a coordinate measuring machine, wherein the guiding and retaining surfaces of the tool rack are arranged on two planes offset vertically so as to cause the tool to tilt when it is unhooked. The inventive arrangement allows the mechanical efforts during uncoupling to be reduced appreciably. This reduction is due to the tool tilting and to the residual magnetic force being divided between three retaining point, with a positive effect on the coupling precision and on the tool positioning in the tool rack.

Abstract:
A probe, connectable to a machine tool, having an electric generator (16), supplying an electric or electronic circuit (22) with electric power, and a driving element (28), capable of relative rotation with respect to the stator of the electric generator. The rotation axis of the driving element is preferably a symmetry axis of the probe itself. The driving element is not connected to any external energy source, and can be set in rotation simply by activating the rotary axis of the machine tool.Advantageously, the driving element of the present invention is not directly connected with any mobile element of the machine tool, but is either rotatably mounted on the probe itself, or fixed on the reference table of the machine tool. Importantly, the inventive probe requires no additional connections to the machine tool on which it is mounted, besides the connection to the rotary spindle, which can be realized with a conventional tool-holder with a standardised tapered shank. In this way the inventive probe is fully compatible with standard probes, and can be mounted and used with standard tool-holders, without any adaptation. The self-powering function of the probe can be activated simply by sending appropriate rotation instructions to the machine tools.
Abstract:
Motorized indexed measuring head for a machine for measuring three-dimensional coordinates. The orientable axes are actuated by motors rigidly supported on bearings or ball bearings. The rotation is transmitted to the re-orientable elements by transmission elements having sufficient play so that the indexing accuracy is not impaired.
Abstract:
Touch probe including a fixed part (250), designed to be fastened onto a measuring machine or a machine tool, and a contact feeler (30) that is mobile and orientable on two independent axes (211, 212) along a multiplicity of directions indexed in space. An actuator (300) comprising antifriction rollers and a ball bearing allows the rotation axes (211) to be unlocked and any orientation to be selected with minimized friction. In locked position, the actuator (300) withdraws under the action of return springs (336) so as not to influence the indexing accuracy.
Abstract:
Column for measuring longitudinal dimensions (1) comprising: a supporting frame (2), a carriage (3) capable of moving along a measuring axis (z) along the supporting frame, a cable or belt (40) for moving said carriage along said measuring axis, a counterweight connected to said cable or belt so as to move in opposite direction from the carriage, a guiding surface for restricting the counterweight's movements. A play of 1 millimeter is provided between said counterweight and said guiding surface. This play is sufficient to avoid any contact between said counterweight and any guiding surface when said counterweight is displaced vertically.

Column for measuring longitudinal dimensions (1) comprising: a supporting frame (2), a carriage (3) capable of moving along a measuring axis (z) along the supporting frame, a probe tip (44) connected to said carriage and designed to be brought into contact with the piece to be measured, a motorized driving device of the carriage comprising a cable or belt (40) for moving said carriage along said measuring axis and a driving motor (5), a system for measuring the position of said carriage (3) along said measuring axis. The driving motor drives an upper driving pulley through a reducing gear and a friction element. The motor, the reducing gear and the friction element are all integrated inside the pulley. Advantages: gain of space. Reduction of the number of parts. Reduction of the constraints applied by the driving belt on the carriage.
