Abstract:
The present invention provides a display screen with an integrated video camera optimized to capture the display screen's information and a light source that injects colored light into the edge of the display screen. Additionally, the system comprises a color blending instrument to blend the primary colors of red, green, blue, and a combination thereof to create an unlimited variety of color combinations that are injected into the display screen.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of acquiring an image of a target to provide an output video image that has a plurality of frame images. The method includes the steps of receiving a series of frame images from a video camera, using a processor to manipulate the series of frame images from a video camera, using a processor to manipulate the series of frame images, which includes determining a reference resolution for providing output frame images, and displaying and/or storing the manipulated series of frame images as the output video image without changing a resolution of the output frame images. Also disclosed is a document imaging apparatus that includes a digital imaging unit. The digital imaging unit contains optics that having an infinite focal length. The document imaging apparatus also includes a processor that is coupled to the digital imaging unit and that is configured to cause the digital imaging unit to zoom in or zoom out in real-time while maintaining a resolution value of stored images constant. A non-transitory storage medium stores images obtained from the digital imaging unit and a display displays the stored images. A folding suspension arm supports the digital imaging unit at a distance from a target to be imaged.
Abstract:
Disclosed are embodiments of a system for rich media enabled communication that includes a service server system and a rich media enabled interactive telephonic device (RMITD). The service server system is configured to initiate a system sharing session automatically upon initiation of a phone call with the rich media enabled interactive telephone device. The RMITD has a browser enabled to access the service server system. The browser can be dynamically downloaded or downloaded in real time from a remote server. The system sharing session is a session in which the service system has access to the RMITD's processor.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and system for providing gesture-based transitions while using a digital whiteboard. The present disclosure relates to a method for gesture-based transitions for interacting with a digital whiteboard comprising the steps of receiving information relating to a first pointer down event; receiving information relating to a first pointer up event; comparing the information relating to the pointer down event to the information relating to the pointer up event; and transitioning from a first interactive mode to a second interactive mode based on the comparison. The present disclosure further relates to a digital whiteboard system comprising one or more processors and memory, communicatively coupled to the one or more processors, storing executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform acts comprising identifying a pointer down event inputted by a user; identifying a pointer up event inputted by the user; comparing the pointer down event to the pointer up event; and transitioning from a first interactive mode to a second interactive mode based on the comparison.
Abstract:
A device for auricularly delivering and/or receiving medication which comprises an earcup, a drug cartridge or drug reservoir having active ingredients, and a fluid generator that generates a fluid having active ingredients and delivers the fluid to the earcup. A method for auricularly delivering medication which comprises the steps of receiving medication from a cartridge at a fluid generator, generating fluid comprising the medication, and passing the fluid to an earcup. A system for auricularly delivering medication comprising a headphone comprising at least one earcup, and a replaceable and consumable drug cartridge coupled to the headphone. A method for receiving medication which comprises the steps of placing an earcup on an ear, operating a headphone coupled to the earcup, and receiving fluid generated by a fluid generator, the fluid comprising active ingredients, wherein the fluid generator receives medication from a cartridge comprising active ingredients.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a smart, electronic desk to facilitate and improve interactive learning. The desk comprises a student desk having a table, a computer such as a tablet having a touch-screen interface, and a document camera all integrated together. The interface displays electronic information to the student and provides a graphic user interface that allows the student to interact with programs or apps through graphical icons and visual indicators. The document camera, also known as a visual presenter, captures images and/or video of documents or other objects placed on the table. The computer comprises a bilateral communications interface to communicate information such as, but not limited to video, between the computer and optional document camera at the electronic desk, and any number of other computers.
Abstract:
An interactive flat panel display is provided with an integrated document camera, embedded computer, and additional touch screen panel in one complete system that facilitates an engaging, interactive and collaborative learning experience. The embedded computer and/or document camera provides content to the flat panel display and the additional touch screen display thereby allowing the user to interact with programs, computer applications, websites, etc. through the touch screen capabilities of the displays.
