摘要: A telematics system in an asset network is provided. The telematics system includes one or more sensors configured to acquire data from multiple assets at different locations in the asset network. The telematics system also includes a transceiver configured to receive the data acquired from the one or more sensors. The telematics system further includes a data analysis system. The data analysis system includes a central data server configured to receive the data transmitted from the transceiver. The data analysis system also includes a processing circuitry configured to combine data, analyze combined data to detect trends, generate value added services based on the detected trends and distribute the value added services to multiple end users.

摘要: In certain embodiments, a freight commerce system is provided. The freight commerce system includes a server communicatively coupled to a communication network. The freight commerce system also includes one or more data collection devices communicatively coupled to the communication network. The one or more data collection devices are configured to provide location information to the server via the communication network, wherein the location information includes real-time geo-based information, historical geo-based information, or a combination thereof. In addition, the freight commerce system includes one or more electronic devices coupled to the communication network and configured to receive user preference information from a user and provide the preference information to the server. The server is configured to process the user preference information from the one or more electronic devices and the location information from the one or more data collection devices and provide the user with information for potential shipping business partners based on the user preference information and the location information.

摘要: A method for reducing emissions from a plurality of moving assets includes receiving trip pattern data corresponding to positions and times from the moving assets and the preference data from a plurality of users. A database of trips made by the moving assets is then generated based on the trip pattern data and trip consolidation opportunities for the moving assets are identified based on the generated database. The method also includes ranking the trip consolidation opportunities based on the preference data and utilizing the ranked trip consolidation opportunities to provide shipping recommendations designed to reduce fuel consumption of the moving assets.

摘要: A mileage estimation system comprising a data collection module, a route determination module, a learning module, and a mileage calculation module is provided. The data collection module receives data corresponding to a position and time of a moving asset from a remote location and the route determination module obtains information from a map database for determining a plurality of routes between at least two location of the moving asset. The learning module in the system determines a route travelled by the moving asset from the plurality of routes based on mileage estimation criterion, and the mileage calculation module estimates the distance travelled by the moving asset based on the route travelled by the moving asset.

The treating of the aqueous composition is monitored from a location remote from the groundwater extraction well and the treating is adjusted to remove a contaminant in accordance with the monitoring. A system to treat a contaminated aqueous composition comprises a capture zone to intercept a contaminated aqueous composition and a surface pump and treat system to receive and treat the contaminated aqueous composition from the capture zone. The system also includes a sensor that senses a contaminant in the contaminated aqueous composition and a monitor to receive information concerning the contaminant from the sensor and to consequently control the pump and treat system to treat the contaminated aqueous composition. The monitor is situated at a location remote from the pump and treat system.
