    摘要: A method for increasing the layer density uniformity across a conductive layer, which comprises a plurality of functional blocks, of an integrated circuit is presented. Increased uniformity is achieved by tiling a plurality of capacitors in between the functional blocks. The configuration of the capacitor array and number of the capacitor cells in the array is arranged so as to provide approximate uniformity in the conductor-to-non-conductor density across the entire conductive layer. The capacitor array may be used to reduce power supply switching noise by coupling one or more of the capacitor cells making up the capacitor array between a high power rail and a low power rail.

    摘要: An electro-viscous hydraulic clutch for a fan clutch in which a control arm for controlling the fluid to a shear zone of the fluid clutch is incorporated in an over-center spring which hinges on the pump plate for snap action operation. The control arm is actuated by an electromagnetic device which is mounted either on a fan clutch cover plate or on the fan clutch shaft pole. This invention features low actuating force, snap action control arm operation and integral spring return. The spring return disengages the clutch when the solenoid or coil power is removed.

A generally tubular casing surrounding the propellant charge has two longitudinal splits dividing the casing into two substantially identical halves which can separate during firing and sustain the pressure created by the propellant charge without deforming. An end cap assembly couples adjacent ends of the halves of the tubular casing to each other.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a formable homogeneous propellant composition and to a process employing same for production of a self-supporting formed propellant charge. The propellant composition comprises a mixture of propellant grains and solvent-filled microcapsules in proportions suitable for consolidation under pressure to form the self-supporting formed propellant charge. The solvent-filled microcapsules comprise solvent suitable for partially solvating the propellant grains. The mixture of propellant grains and solvent-filled microcapsules are placed in a forming mold under sufficient pressure to rupture at least a substantial portion of the microcapsules. Pressure is maintained for a time sufficient to form the self-supporting formed propellant charge, after which the propellant charge can be removed from the forming mold and cured by exposure to drying heat.
