摘要: Motion artifacts and patient dose during 4D CT imaging are reduced by adaptive control of data acquisition. The respiration signal (310) and CT data acquisition (340) are linked, such that ‘bad’ data from erratic breathing cycles that cause artifacts is not acquired by pausing CT data acquisition (360) when erratic breathing is detected, and not resuming CT data acquisition until steady-state respiration is resumed. Training data is used to develop a tolerance envelope for a respiratory signal such that for erratic breathing cycles the respiratory signal is not within the tolerance envelope (330).

摘要: Systems and methods for monitoring and controlling delivery of a therapeutic compound to a brain of a subject using FUS-BBBD are disclosed. The method includes treating the brain of the subject with focused ultrasound in combination with microbubbles for blood-brain barrier disruption (FUS-BBBD), administering the therapeutic agent to the subject; and obtaining a map of a concentration of the therapeutic agent delivered to the brain of the subject using passive cavitation imaging (PCI). The delivery of focused sound may be modulated to match the map of the concentration of the therapeutic agent delivered to the brain of the subject to a desired spatial distribution of the therapeutic agent.

摘要: A material handling system for placing and retrieving palletized loads in densely spaced storage areas utilizing an overhead bridge crane connected to a pallet load handling device by way of lifting cables and a stabilizing mast assembly. The pallet handling devices may include vertically or horizontally movable pallet engaging fork mechanisms mounted on a generally rectangular frame which is operable to be lowered over a pallet load and engaged therewith by way of the fork mechanisms. The pallet handling device frame may be split and interconnected by actuator mechanisms to facilitate ease of placing the handling devices over a pallet load and releasing the load from the handling device.
