    摘要: A precision balance of the type having a short-stroke measuring system includes a load receptor connected to the measuring system by means of a hanger. The load receptor has the shape of a yoke and extends around the hanger. The yoke-shaped load receptor rests on the ends of two arms of a receiving element, wherein the arms are attached to the bottom of the hanger and elastically prestressed to press against the hanger. The yoke-shaped load receptor is held at the upper part of the hanger in a manner allowing guided sideways movement of the load receptor.

    摘要: A measuring instrument for gravimetric moisture determination of a sample has a radiator, a weighing cell, and a sample receiver which can be connected to the weighing cell. The sample receiver allows the sample to be placed on or removed from the sample receiver. The radiator is positioned either above or below the sample, or both above and below, relative to the load direction of the weighing cell. A rotatably mounted heat conductor whose axis of rotation is orthogonal to the plane in which the sample or the sample receiver extends is positioned between the radiator and the sample. The heat conductor absorbs at least part of the radiation that impinges upon it and releases the absorbed radiation to the sample through at least one radiation-releasing surface. Through its ability to rotate, the heat conductor irradiates the entire sample surface.

    摘要: A draft protection device for a balance, which encloses a weighing compartment surrounding a weighing pan, has at least one opening that can be closed by a window. The at least one window has at least two slidable window sections which partially overlap each other in any of their positions. According to the invention, a drive mechanism is provided for the opening and closing of the window, which drive mechanism couples the window sections to each other in such a way that all of the window sections move simultaneously and at different speeds during the opening and closing, wherein a fixed ratio between the respective speeds of the window sections can be predetermined by design.

    摘要: A precision balance including sliding side doors and an upper cover forming the weighing chamber of the balance. The side doors and the cover can be moved individually or coupled together either manually or driven by a motor. Side parts of the support member form the connection between the side doors and the upper cover. In addition, the side doors are connected to each other by means of a plate extending underneath the weighing chamber and the balance housing. The connection between the movable parts is effected by means of sliding bolts provided in handles. The individual sliding bolts facilitate a coupling between the sliding side doors and/or the cover. The plate extending under the weighing chamber facilitates a connection of the two side doors so that the latter can be moved simultaneously either with or without the upper cover.

In the preferred embodiment, the calibration weight comprises a horizontally arranged U-shaped member the center of gravity of which is arranged below the scale pan. In this manner, a compact and simple arrangement of the calibration weight is provided that furthermore facilitates ease of handling and operation.
